Holy Cow Burgers — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I am actually shocked at these ratings. When we entered, there were two employees at the counter, none of them greeted/acknowledged us as we looked at them. They both went inside while we stare at them and menu on the screen. Very unprofessional, very unwelcoming. We started our order with the "self checkout" as these employees ran away inside. While the "self checkout" didn't show the same options being shown on the screen and we were struggling to put in our order, two boys(new customers) walk in and one of the same employees(who ran away inside) comes out immediately and starts taking their order. WTH ?! Weren't we in line ? After finishing with them, I asked "would you help us now coz we have been waiting before them?" He is like "Yes". No apology nothing. Horrible customer service. Food was below average. Had a piece of plastic bag in our burger(check picture). Fries had some odd smell to it. I fell sick the next day for an entire week.

I am seriously shocked how this place is open and all these fake ratings. Save yourself the trouble and the money. Protect your health and go eat somewhere they are clean and care for you...

I have had my share of halal burgers. I've tried a lot of places in Queens, but after a few hours of shopping at RF, we decided to try this place.

The guy at the counter was very nice and explained the menu well. We opted for the lunch special and 2 classic burgers.

First the good part. The fries were awesome. Nice & hot and seasoned. The sliders, though cute, had almost no meat. While eating we had a difficult time tasting any meat.

The bad part were the classic burgers. The bun was unusually hard and tasted stale. It was a brioche style bun. Again, the same issue followed this burger. Since their patty is not round, the amount of meat was quite small and this didn't qualify for a burger.

We will not be returning. What's amazing is that halal burger joint want to charge a premium price like 'shake shack' but they don't deliver on...

We ordered chicken nuggets, beef cheesesteak, double smash burgers, regular fries, and seasoned fries. The serving of nuggets was generous and fresh - they weren't the frozen kind.

The beef in the burger patties and the cheesesteak was juicy and tender. We did think that the patties and cheesesteak could've used a dash more seasoning/salt. The bottom bun of the burgers seemed to be a bit hard, not sure why.

The fries were good, and also a generous amount. They were fresh and hot. They are probably frozen, but they didn't taste that way.

The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean.

Seating: There are 3 tables, of which only 1 can accommodate 5-6 people. So call before hand to check availability if going with family.
