My family and I have been coming to Hug for years and I am beyond disappointed with my experience this evening for my Mother's Day dinner. Knowing their waiting history, I ordered dinner as soon as they opened at 4PM anticipating a really long time to wait for their delivery. Around 6PM, I received a notification from Yelp that my order was delivered but it was not. I decided to wait knowing that they take forever to prepare food but it has always been worth the wait.
I called at 6:30 to see the status of my order and was told by Victor that they cancelled my order. When I had asked why, his response was, "Oh it was too busy, so we had to cancel it." He was not sympathetic AT ALL. When I expressed to him that I was going to his establishment for years, it would have been nice to get a phone call notifying me that my order could not have been fulfilled and how disappointed I was by how he was handling the situation he just said, "It's really busy, I am sorry."
I'm sad to say, this will be the last time I will be ordering from them or going there when...

This is a small place where you sometimes have to wait to be served your order a little longer than you would prefer, where a little more atmosphere would perhaps make the visit more enjoyable, and where more convenient parking would making visiting a lot more convenient. These are the common critiques in the reviews about this place and I completely agree. But oh, as in those same reviews, when that food arrives and you take the first bite, all is forgotten! I love thai food and have visited many thai restaurants locally, nationally and internationally. Of these numerous restaurants, this one has my favorite food by far. If not for the drawbacks previously mentioned, I would rate this place a solid five stars! If you enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal, bring your own bottle...
Read more1st time there and I won't return. Place is pretty and girl at counter was nice, but, I love Thai food and this was the worst. I ordered Pad Thai vegetable. It was very dry, bland and no flavor, I had to add water to separate noodles, barely any sauce. There were almost no vegetables, 1 tiny piece of broccoli(about the size of a nickel), 1 string bean, about 3 thin round carrot discs(smaller than a quarter) and a lot of chewy dried up tofu. It was mostly dry noodles. However after forcing to eat my expensive meal half way through, I find a dirty piece of copper wire in my food. I wish I read these reviews before I went there. I don't enjoy putting a place down but this was the worst I ever had. Stay away, there are many good Thai places around, this is not...
