I have been going to this place for years. The young lady that was taking my order wouldn't let me finish before she started trying to finish my order. I know what I want to order, they have to learn how to listen. Then they put someone else on the phone to take the order without letting me know that this was a different person. So I had to begin all over, of course I got frustrated but then the girl started screaming at me. I normally spend about $100 a week at this place. I will NOT anymore though after this. They are very nasty and the chicken has been getting very salty. My daughter worked there about 23 years ago so I am very familiar with this place. I will for sure look for some place else because you can tell this place is going down. They have new managers and you can tell. They have NO people skills. I know they are young people but when you are running a business especially an eatery place you have to be patient. I will spend my money some place else. To give an update I went to the store to speak to the manager, a young girl came out saying she was the manager. She wasn't as nasty however she kept saying, "Can I help you?" Without even listening to the complaint. She said I was the one being rude. I might have said it in a rude way but I NEVER raised my voice. I was aggrevated because I gave my order and then the other person switched me over to this person. When the next person came on she just said can I have your order after I gave my order 2 times already. As a manager if you come on a call you are suppose to identify yourself as being the manager and then proceed to ask, how can I help you? It's apparent they don't have managerial skills or any type of customer service etiquette. Again I wish them well but I will not be spending any money there and anyone that I know who was going there I will direct them to go some place else. So sad because you have these businesses in your neighborhood and you try to support and keep them afloat. I was warned before but I guess I had to...
Read moreWhat a pleasant surprise to see this place! Happened to go to a kitchen cabinet place in Bellmore and there they were right next door! I couldn't believe I saw they have Nathan's and Arthur Treachers! Those places bring me right back to the "good old days"! They closed the Nathan's on OCR in Westbury which was a total staple in my childhood and that was so sad! 😞 There also used to be an Arthur Treachers right across the street which closed! Seeing this place had me feeling so nostalgic! Then when I went inside I was amazed at all the really cool vintage items this place is creatively adorned with! Major nostalgia! Such a cozy and warm vibe ✨️ 😌 The framed photos on the wall of the original Nathan's in Coney Island are fabulous! The owners Frank and Carla were kind, friendly, fun and cool and have dedicated so much time, effort and pure love and care into this establishment it's absolutely wonderful! ❤️ The classics like fish and chips from AT and the fried clams and hush puppies from Nathans did not disappoint. There should be more mom and pop "neighborhood feel" businesses like this! This is what America was built on! Their pride of ownership is truly inspiring. DEF show them some ❤️ and stop in for some yummy comfort food! Oh! They also deliver too!!! Honor and pleasure was all ours! Thank you!...
Read moreGotta start out by saying a good piece of fried chicken is hard to come by when you do takeout. By the time you get it home it’s usually soggy and not as crispy as you’d want it butttt… This Chicken Holiday has always been consistent when it comes to keeping their chicken crispy! Been coming here for a couple years now and they never disappoint. We usually get only breasts and fries and they’re delicious every single time. We do Nathan’s fries since they’re crispy and soft at the same time, plus who doesn’t love the little red pitchforks that come with them. Besides the food being good and always on point, the best part is their customer service. On 2 separate occasions I just so happen to spark up a convo with the people at the counter, I’m guessing it was the owners on both occasions. Very friendly, incredibly generous and you can tell they care. Will keep coming back...
