Italian Affair — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

I'm really sorry that I have to post this,but I've been ordering from Italian Affair from over twenty five years.

I work for A medical office 🏬, and we've spent quite a few dollars with Italian Affair over these twenty five years. Every time we place orders, and the new Spanish speaking gentleman take the order there's usually a problem with the order. I've been patient, and not wanting to make a big issue out of the small mistakes let it go. However today was the last straw for me,and I've decided that after ordering 3 Grilled chicken caeasr salad and asking for one extra dressing ( They sent 3). Salad comes with parmesan cheese, but I usually ask them to leave it off of one salad, however I know the issue this has caused in the past( They take it off of all the salads) so I didn't give special instructions. I ordered three Chicken Caesar salad, and would you believe there was no Parmesan cheese on any of the salad 🤔 ( which cost over 50$ give me my cheese)

I call back to express my disappointment, and the same gentleman with limited English starts talking over me, and stating I asked for 3xtra dressing, and no cheese. I asked to speak to his manager ( who was talking in the background with the other Spanish workers) He gets on the phone and says he doesn't have anyone to deliver the cheese, and we always have problem. I stated, since you have this Spanish gentleman taking the orders, that's the only time there's an issue, when the owners/ Managers Joe or Frank, were taking orders never any problems.

After twenty five years of loyalty great tips,referring other medical facilities we get mishandled like this ! We love the food. But the service has become substandard.

I order at least monthly from your place. Have been for years now. The delivery service is the pits. The last 3 times the food was late. Last night Thursday, December 21st) was the absolute worst yet. I placed the order at 4:35PM. I always ask how much and how long from any place I order from. Got told 35-40 minutes. Okay that is about normal. I called after waiting 12 minutes past the stated time. Oh we have lot of deliveries and not enough delivery people. Well my order was cold. This was just NOT right at all.

The 2 times before that the delivery person wanted to keep the menu with my information on it and tried telling me that it was 50 cents more than I was told. He than shows me the menu where it is clearly marked with price and says he could not tell if it was a 0 or a...

Giving them a 3 star because even though the pizza is good, their cleanliness isn’t there. I’ve seen many times these men at the counter handle cash and are also touching their face , nose ,head , touching register and everything around them then go handle the pizza slices or pies with their bare hands to put them in the oven. If the owner reads this , please have one person at the register handle transactions and the other individuals handle the food ONLY. I don’t know if I’ll be coming back after whiteness this a few times. I didn’t want to call them out at the place because I didn’t want to make a scene or have them give me an attitude. Plus the garlic knots are so stiff and always a disappointment- it’s like eating bread rolls...
