The first time I came to this restaurant, the music was so loud that I couldn't hear the server through the plexiglass. I was 2nd in line, so I naturally waited my turn. A person came after me, and instead of taking my order, the server jumped to the person behind me. I ignored it and ordered. I was new here so I wasn't sure of the ordering process and she did nothing to help me so I got the minimum, duck curry and dhal puri and I left.
The 2nd time, I brought my mother with me because the food was good. We walked in and the same server had her head down and didn't acknowledge us until I asked about catering vegetarian food and she didn't have an answer. I then tried to order food and she ignored me because she was filling out an uber order. Keep in mind, this entire time she may have looked at me once and barely responding when I tried to ask any question about the food. She rang us up and asked us to hurry and pay so she can finish her uber order, so we did and we still had to wait because she hadn't finished our order. Mind you, there wasn't anyone else in the restaurant at the time.
This lady was incredibly rude and nasty. Horrible customer service. She never greeted us or said thank you or bye. She never once looked me in the eye or acknowledged my mother when my elderly mother was trying to speak with her.
The food was great but worst customer service that I've ever experienced. Never again. I would discourage people from going there for...
Read moreI went to this restaurant last Saturday morning, January 27th, 2024. It was really an unpleasant experience. The roti and dhall puri were very doughy, extremely thick, and not cooked at all. The boulanger choka was grey without its usual ingredients.
The lady who was serving could not care less and was unapologetic. She also said there was no coffee (We did, however, notice on FB the owner said this is a place where coffee can be had") She also said, there were no plates to place our food on. She said, generally, people eat from the containers. She stated no one ever complained about how raw and unsightly their rotis were. We also traveled quite a few mins to come to dine at this restaurant
This review is by no way to degrade this restaurant. The restaurant is very beautifully decorated and aesthetically pleasing. You could tell that a lot of thought and effort were generated to make it appealing to its clientle. However, this is a food service, and it should have the same dedication and effort to serve good food for what its consumers are paying for.
I am a Guyanese, and I looked forward to having great Guyanese food served to us. We do like our rotis fluffy and soft. I can speak for all Guyanese, and we certainly don't think raw, doughy , thick oil roti, grey boulanger choka without a hint of shallot, pepper, garlic, onion and tomatoes and also poor customer...

I was introduced to this restaurant by a friend over 2 years ago and to date it's remains my go-to spot!!! With a captivating ambiance, it tops the neighboring competitions by far.
As a family oriented establishment, quality customer service is obvious when you arrive. Being greeted by friendly, pleasant employees is a recipe that lures my family and I to this location four days a week.
Though a lover of the chicken fried rice, their variety of hot colorful dishes, gives me a reason to indulge. A combination of doubles, fried plantains with curried goat is a meal my teenage boys constantly yearn for.....
Whether we decide to grab & go or dine in house, the cleanliness there will captivate you. Boredom is not a option while you dine, as the lovely selection of Caribbean music keeps you vibing while you eat.
...And if you decide to create memories for the future, your Kodak moment can be captured at a designated area as soon as you enter through the door.
So yes! ...I have given them a 5 ââ âââ and will continue to support their business as they continue to grow in the...
