Taco Bell — Restaurant in Town of Hempstead

Very displeased with the service and the quality of food served here. We are a big fan of Tacobell, and usually go to the Merrick/ Freeport location. We today tried the Seaford Tacobell, since we wanted to Dine-in and were in the area. This is actually the newly designed Tacobell, much better looking and welcoming. So we went in , place was well lit and looked good. We ordered our food, so to start the soda machine was out of 4 sodas, and I tried the Baja Blast, the color of the drink was purple, tasted it didn’t taste anything like the regular Baja blast. I tried it again from another filter and that Baja Blast tasted like seltzer water. I asked the person on the counter to assist and see what’s wrong. He says to try the other filter, which I told him I tried and tasted like seltzer. The person at the counter says he will check. In the meantime I went back to have my food, which was cold. This guy never followed up on the drink, never bothered to fix the machine. The quality of food was not the same as other Taco Bell I have been to. I went to this location maybe an hour ago, and attempted to get the new MTN Dew flavor Baja Midnight.

I successfully ordered the beverage, but tasted it and it seemed off. It seemed like I was just drinking seltzer. I told the cashier and he got the manager. The manager at this location proceeded to tell me, "that's just how the drink tastes". I did not want to argue with him, I understand the stressful environments in fast food, but that is NOT how the drink tastes.

In order to prove my own doubts, I went to another Taco Bell location, in Amityville. I ordered the same exact beverage and to my delight it tastes like MTN Dew Midnight.

The manager at the Massapequa location simply did not want to deal with the issue, and proceeded to tell me "that's just how the drink tastes" without even checking if it seemed off. Not happy, may not return.

While professionally handling the insane amount of orders at 1am on a Saturday night/Sunday morning, the Seaford Taco Bell staff crushes it. I was waiting inside for my order to be completed and couldn’t help but notice the entire staff working as hard and seamlessly as they can, putting together every single order flawlessly, non stop, making sure everyone was served in a timely manner.

Kudos specifically to Dansly, who helped me even after I messed up by going inside for my drive thru pickup and still accommodated me, as well as the professionalism from both Anthony and Kyle.

This Seaford location works extremely hard to make sure everyone is taken care of and I hope this positive review for this great staff doesn’t go unnoticed. Sometimes customers don’t see or understand what happens behind the scenes but I witnessed it tonight and this team deserves nothing but praise for rocking the overnight...
