The Buffalo and chicken parmesan wings, pork potstickers, patty melt on rye and Guinness fish sandwich were all unexpectedly satisfying and surprisingly good. The drinks had a good pour and the new bartender helped us with suggestions to make a special cocktail more personal. The "Getaway" switched a white rum instead of the sweet brand; the Cosmpolitan replaced vodka for gin; Long Island Ice Tea was fine as listed. While sitting talking with a friend over a meal, the cleaning staff came over and turned up the volume on the enormous tv in the corner, making it impossible to continue carrying on our conversation. I would have understood if we had stayed close to closing at 1130pm. They did it at 5pm.
Perhaps if you're advertising a restaurant "With soft lighting and a relaxing atmosphere", you might want to clue your staff in on what that means. You may also want to put the volume control of the tv into...
