The food and service are impeccable! Everyone working there was enjoying themselves and loved the food just as much as the customers. It is very rare to find a team highly committed to service that leaves you feeling so great about the restaurant. The wings are tender and juicy and come right off the bone. I found myself sucking down wings the way a "wing person" would. The pizza surprises with how well each fresh ingredient comes through in the final product. I could taste basil, garlic, the sweet bbq sauce, the slightly toasted dough, the texture of the cheese, the blue cheese, the red peppers and sun dried tomatos. Usually this many ingredients create an overwhelming mishmash of flavor that stunts the taste buds, but with every bite I could sense many of the flavors which complimented each other and didn't overwhelm my palate. The owner was very friendly and interested in our experience. We tried the ice cream and were amazed at how delicious it was. It was no regular ice cream but Pittsford dairy farms which the owner was very happy to have acquired. I don't blame him, each of the types of ice cream is unique and the value you get is unbeatable. For a kiddie at a mere 3.75 I was able to enjoy a generous scoop of my flavor of choice. The owner let us sample another flavor he felt was one of the best: the cookie monster, and I couldn't agree more after I tasted the more than generous sample, which was almost an entire scoop on its own! This was our second time coming here and we will be making this place one of our regulars. It's the kind of place where you wish other places would imitate the level of service and quality of food. Can't recommend enough! Also, I can't forget to mention how much I love the fact that extra ingredients are no extra cost. I don't know how they are able to do that, but I am grateful for their generosity and dedication to make your experience...
Read moreThe place is nicely decorated, there's interesting lighting fixtures,a display tv a fake fireplace screen, men and women's bathrooms, and a soft drink machine with local sodas. There's even a few beers on tap and in bottles from what I saw. The left side of the building is dedicated to pizza items, calzones etc. It seems at some point you will be able to get two different size pizzas. Right now, they have one size, which cut up is about 6 small slices for a little over $10, but the perk is that you can out as many toppings as you want for no extra charges. They also serve chicken wings which were very flavorful, but they were definitely pretty soft and seemed barely cooked. For those of you looking for the typical cooked wings that are crispy, it may disappoint. On the right side they serve ice cream and milkshakes from Pittsford Dairy Farms. I enjoyed being able to put all sorts of things on my pizza, however you can see the staff there is all young kids so there's some inconsistency between pizzas made. There doesn't really seem to be a flow of things just yet, but they just opened up a couple weeks ago. The "firecrust" isn't really fired. Theres a large interesting oven right in the front and center as you walk in. It's very big and cooks a pizza in a couple minutes but there isn't a smokey taste like you might be expecting. The oven can fit about 6 ish pizzas which slowly turn on large stone inside. Overall the place has a nice vibe, it will definitely attract a younger crowd. I think some nice background music would be good and a little more training with the staff regarding making the actual...
Read moreI’ve had mixed experiences with this restaurant. The service I received in person was always friendly and polite. I like that the transparency they provide by allowing you to see the process of how your pizza is made from start to finish. They are a bit on the expensive side, but compared to some of their competitors in the area, they are somewhat justified in their pricing. I recently had a not so great experience with an employee over the phone due to an error they made on my Door Dash order. I’m vegan , so I always try to notate that I would not like any cheese or meat on my pizza. When I order through Door Dash, it doesn’t have a “NO CHEESE” option. So I didn’t choose any cheese option - which “vegan cheese” is part of those options, in case you’re wondering. When I received my delivery, the pizza had cheese on it. After I had marked an issue on my order and received a credit for receiving the cheese, I called the store with the intent to pick up a new pie. I can’t remember the name of the young lady I spoke with but after I explained the situation to her she replied, “Oh yeah, in your note you said ‘vegan no meat no cheese,’ so we gave you vegan cheese.” I explained that I didn’t want cheese at all, she gave a sigh and then said she would just give me a refund. It was obvious she was annoyed, but I don’t understand why? I thanked her anyway and she quickly gave me a “mhmm”...
