Legends — Restaurant in Town of Horseheads

Got online to place an order on their website as it boasts that it now has online ordering. That's what it claims anyway, but every single time that I have ever gone to their website to place an order it says "we aren't accepting orders at the moment." And then leaves a phone number to call. Finally today I decided to do just that. I called and I let them know their website wasn't allowing me to place an order and that it never has worked for me. The woman on the other end of the phone said "oh. Interesting. What can I get for you?" I was just thinking "okay now that you've taken that complaint seriously, and reported it so that something might be done about it...." I placed my order for a pepperoni pizza and honey barbecue chicken wings. She asked me to repeat the whole thing again but in response to my chicken wings she said "regular?" And I confirmed "yes." In her mind she was thinking okay that means with bone not boneless, but in my mind I was thinking I don't want too many or too little I just want the 'regular' amount. So when I got my entire order home and I opened up the chicken wings and there were bones I almost puked. I have not been a fan of bone wings since boneless came out years ago. So this was kind of my fault but it should be a lesson that you specify what you're talking about when you ask a customer "regular?" Because you might not be on the same page as I was not. I ordered the wings because it's the only thing I'd ever had from Legends and I only ever knew about it because someone said I needed to try their wings. The wings that I ended up with were not fully covered with sauce not that it mattered because I didn't eat them anyway because I don't like wings with bones in them. The pizza is my mistake because no one ever told me if they had good pizza or not I was just winging it no pun... Their pizza was disgusting. Hands down one of the worst pizzas I've ever had in my life. The cheese wasn't melted properly and it was like all clumpy. It's hard to explain but I'll try: you ever bought a thing of bagel bites those microwavable little mini pizzas on bagels that are made to go in the microwave, and when you pull them out of the microwave them little square pieces of cheese are melted but they're not really melted together they're sort of melted separately? Like the folds of a brain? Is that making sense? That is what the cheese was like. The dough itself was soooo white, with barely any browning at all, I thought for almost certain that it was going to be half cooked dough but thankfully it was cooked all the way. I only had two slices though because it was that bad and it wasn't even coming apart well I had to use my hands to really tear the slices off of each other because it wasn't cut all the way through. Even though the person I spoke with over the telephone didn't seem interested in their website having online order form issues, the staff was still pretty nice. The price was also cheap. This is why I'm giving them three stars instead of 1. So to sum up: please always specify "with or without bones" and not just ask "regular?" And expect that slow people like myself are going to get that, and consider removing pizza from your entire menu altogether because it...

I had a horrible experience at this place. If you are a black person, stay away from this place, they do not want your business. I place an online order walks in this place to get my order and was not acknowledged until I asked for my food that was just sitting there for like 4 or 5 minutes. . I wish I would've known before I left a tip. 2ND POST REPLY TO OWNER so I was correct. you all are that way. see how you just lied on me. I got the receipt to show I ordered on line so why would you say ya'll don't take online order. yeah I travel all over the country and eat at different restaurants, and if I'm mistreated the way I was at your restaurant I leave a review about it. I was standing ar the bar like 4 to 5 minutes while that lady in the jean shorts was on the phone and trying to give a man another beer that he didn't want. when I saw that I ask for my food that was just sitting there for 4 to 5 minutes. the lady that was trying to give a buzz/drunk man another beer told me she was too busy to hand me my food that was paid for ONLINE and sitting there. once she did give me my food she pulled the bag handles back towards her in a messy way. to you the owner. your response to my post is telling. " I just leave one star at random restaurants and didn't order from there online" how about an apology for having me stand at the bar 4 to 5 minutes while no one acknowledged me. how about you do...

We started out with warm pretzels with a cheese sauce to dip in for an appetizer. Oddly there was no salt on the pretzels, which is always routine. When we mentioned to the waitress, she brought out a cup with salt which was basically useless since the pretzels were cooled down and the salt wouldn't stick to the pretzels. I ordered a "fried egg burger" which was really a piece of scrambled egg on top of a burger. Very disappointing as I have never seen it prepared thar way. I also ended up having to use a lot of ketchup to make up for the burger being so dry. In addition I had sweet potato french fries. The dip was butter & honey but didn't realize there was honey in it until the waitress explained you have to scrape the bottom of the cup to get the honey. Fortunately the waitress offered to bring just honey which was a 100% improvement! We also had a wrap and wings in the order which were very good. The waitress was very attentive and friendly which is why the review is getting 3 stars instead of 2. I've had good meals there before but not sure if I'll be back again. Definitely...
