If Horseheads Pudgies cared about their customers, they would take care of the food that they send out the door. Apparently a pizza going out the door uncooked is not their problem. Tired of spending lots of money on junk. Owners own daughter delivered a pizza and messed it up by braking to fast or taking off to fast, half the toppings on that pizza was on 1 side of the pizza and nothing but sauce on the other. Was told that she would make it up to us next time we had a order. Still waiting. There is no sense of complaining about it. They don't give refunds or even remake the orders they mess up. They take money from good hard working people. The food is on the shelf waiting for pickup. Apparently they don't check the product that's going out the door. Had them make me a cold sub. I got home to a sub that was cooked. Call let them know. Went back the next day, and was told by owners that you must bring your food right back that day or night if you want it fixed. I'll do it this time but not again was what I was told. So they don't have to replace nothing. No worries. My family will not be spending anymore of our hard earned dollars at Horseheads Pudgies. For now on all orders will be made at Southside Pudgies. At least they care about their customers. Horseheads Pudgies do not. They used to. Not anymore. To the family of Horseheads Pudgies shame on you guys for being so greedy you don't care about customers. Also you don't care if the food is cooked or not. I didn't realize that we would always have to put the pizza we ordered from you, to turn around and finish baking a pizza that should have already been cooked. No more $125 orders from us. Not going to hurt us. Definitely going to hurt your own business you keep up the awesome work. Everyone the picture says it all. This isn't cheese....
Read moreHorseheads Pudgies seems to be a polarizing pizzeria for the locals; you either love it or you hate it. This place has always been my favorite pizza since I was a young tike. The haters like to call it Sludgies. I will admit that the prices are high, but you simply cannot beat the taste/flavor in my opinion. They use a lot more sauce and cheese than the average pizzeria and that can create a lot of grease (hence Sludgies). The crust is more of a fluffy chewy variety as opposed to most of the New York style thin crisp crusts in the area. The crust is also the same consistency and texture for their small - large sizes, and for their sheet pizza. For instance, if you go to Picnic Pizza and order a sheet pizza, it is a completely different crust than their large pizza. I also love the wings at Horseheads Pudgies, but make sure you get the traditional and not the boneless, the boneless are very similar to Buffalo Wild Wings and I am not a fan of that style. I don't order from Pudgies as much as I would like to due to the high prices, but when I do I always get one of their combo packs. Their Square Deal is a large pizza, 20 wings and a quart of soda. The Party pack is a sheet pizza with 20 wings and a quart of soda. Or if you want to go all out, the Max Pack is a sheet pizza, 40 wings and 2 quarts of soda. I recommend pepperoni and meat sauce for the pizza and mild traditional wings.
They also offer pizza by the slice, breadsticks, hot and cold subs, other fried foods, pastas, salads, stromboli and calzones.
Again, the prices are high, but you get what you pay for. Quality always costs a bit more, and your taste buds will...
Read moreIf I could give 0 stars, I would’ve. Several times we’ve ordered from this Horseheads location and our order has been messed up. The first time it happened it wasn’t a big deal! We know accidents happen. But when we called to get it fixed the manager treated us like we were lying and wanted free food. But still fixed it. Another time, our order was completely wrong. Our $14 salads were the size of a side salad and my husbands had THREE golf ball sized lettuce stalks in his salad so must of his “lettuce” was stalk. I also asked for no olives and my salad was loaded. What if I had a ALLERGY?!?! - whatever we decided it wasn’t a huge deal and went on take the rest out of the bag. Then we realized they sent us fries over cauliflower and called to get it corrected and AGAIN, they acted like we were trying to get free food. Then they proceeded to tell us in order to get what we ORDERED we had to give back the mistake fries. Which is fine besides the fact it grossed me out thinking that they take back food from peoples homes and do exactly what with it? Resell it? You do not know how anyone lives or the kind of person they are. That has to be a health code violation. We have given them multiple chances to correct their mistakes and maybe not make one for once. They do not care about their customers nor are they willing to accept that they make mistakes and accuse customers of trying to steal. We will never eat...
