Bagel Boss of East Northport — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I was originally going to write a 5 star review because for the most part every time I go here its an Amazing experience, but I just can't get the feeling of my last visit here off my mind. I went in to get my usual or a flagel with light vegetable tuna salad, I ordered and this time around it was taking a little longer than normal, but I was fine with this as I was not in a hurry. Two other people who walked in after me, need I say, ordered and got their food right away. I was quite confused about this because as I said before I had been waiting a little while, so I went up to the counter again and asked what had been the hold and the cashier said it would be just a little while. After that another person walked in and got their food right away and I noticed a pattern all of the patrons before me were white and got their food right away through they had ordered much after me and I as a black women had not though I ordered about 15 minutes before hand . I thought to myself maybe this was just a misunderstanding on my part, I eventually got my food and was on my way. This morning I went to write a review on my service this particular day and read through a couple of the other reviews and noticed that not one, but two patrons had experience as I did which is when I knew this was a race issue and not a misunderstanding. I am very disappointed and do not know if I will be returning to this particular bagel boss...

My family enjoys their bagels, as overpriced as they are. Disappointingly, however, their bacon egg and cheese sandwiches are subpar. How, might you ask, is it possible to ruin a simple bacon, egg and cheese sandwich? By severely undercooking the bacon. We're always sure to specifically request that the bacon be cooked extra extra crispy, however, it always comes undercooked and soggy....just plain gross! Would be fine if it was a one time thing, but EVERY TIME is just not acceptable, especially at their prices. We used to order every week, but the straw that broke the camel's back was this last time we ordered, the bacon was half raw, to the point where my daughter actually gagged on it because it was completely unchewable. Sorry Boss, but if you can't follow straightforward instructions from your customers, then you just lost a long time...

I ordered a Bacon Egg and Cheese to go from this deli using Ubereats. Gigantic mistake. When I opened up the bagel at home it was burnt black. I was starving so I tried to eat the least burnt part which had some bacon - the bacon was absolutely rancid and sour tasting and made me gag and almost vomit.

I officially hate this deli. Once they saw how badly they burnt the bagel they should have toasted a new bagel, not banked on me opening the bagel at home so they could save overhead on using one extra bagel.

Especially ironic since I ordered my bagel lightly toasted. It was black and charred.

I've put in a complaint at Ubereats for a refund and notified them of a health issue since the bacon was clearly spoiled ontop of this bagel being completely...
