Chip City — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Drawn in by the sign outside and the vibe! Being our first we were not disappointed, but would have to be a special occasion if we were to go again.

Honestly, a bit shocked by the price of one cookie ($4.75) especially after eating it. A bit crunchy, even though they said that each cookie comes straight out of the oven. They did not seem as fresh as were advertised. 9 cookies to choose from, and there is a possibility for add ons for an additional charge.

Nancy was great! She was knowledgable about the history of the location, gave good recommendations and managed the larger crowd efficiently. She suggested the Brookie, it didn't surpass my expectations.

What really made our experience was the overall decor and merchandise (which we bought), for example the pins and the tote bags. Our one issue with the location was the size and lack of seating. There were ten people and only two tables of two, which were taken up by a family. There was no room for us to sit, we had to go to our car.

We have yet to finish the cookie but our pin and bag made errand...

Though the product is good, I will not be returning to Chip city. I put an order in via Uber and when the order arrived, I had the correct receipt on the box from Chip city with the wrong order. I called to alert them that someone else has my order and they are not getting what they ordered nor have I received my order. Though the customer service woman on the phone was polite. Nothing was resolved and it was very frustrating. I was advised that I can either re-order the order or call Uber. Uber did not make the mistake. The mistake was on the chip city end. My son injured his arm and on the way into the urgent care we saw Chip City was right there. On a whim I decided to see if they had vegan cookies and by George they did. Turned out to be two of the best cookies I've had in my life, before or after devoting to abstention from animal products. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.
