Bay Delicatessen — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Been going here on and off for years. When I'm in the area I stop in. Today though, not happy. Not going to say which employee but ordered 2 egg sandwiches one has onion right So as I'm paying the person goes to put the sandwiches down and goes OH I need to check something, the onion was on the wrong sandwich I see him swapping something in the back but can't see what, get to my jobsite and realize they put raw onion on my mine instead of the other, they swap it hoping I wouldn't realize. Whatever, I like onion that's not the point. These days everyone is allergic to everything thankfully I'm not. Do that to someone with an allergy and you could put someone in the hospital. Get the order right, or explain and ask if the customer wants it...

Hands down the best deli on Long Island!!!! Bacon is amazing, service is unmatched, and prices are normal. I’ve been coming to Huntington as of recently due to a new lady I am dating. I tried multiple delis in the area and was so disappointed in every experience I had. My new lady friend suggested this small deli up the road called bay deli. I was reluctant to give another deli a try in this area but let me tell you. Terrible service! About a month ago I went to buy a chicken sandwich ( slacker one ) which it would cost me around $10,00 but somehow when I gave my debit card to one of the staff he ended up charging me $90,00 for a chicken sandwich.
