Dunkin' — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

I was taking a walk with my son…he is in a stroller, and is about 20 months old. We stopped at Dunkin to get a small cup of coffee and an ice cream cone. The ice cream was very loosely placed on the cone. As soon as my son grabbed it, the scoop of ice cream fell onto the floor. I went to pick it up, but they had no napkins in the dispenser so my my hands were very sticky afterward. There were three younger employees behind the counter who were joking around with each other but not paying attention to what was happening. I asked one of them to give me a replacement cone because the first one had been put on very loosely. I got the second time, but my son was getting very agitated and starting to whine and cry so I was distracted. I paid the bill and left, but thought the bill was a little high. When I checked the receipt later, I realized I’d been charged for two ice cream cones, although the first one had the ice cream placed very loosely on top. You shouldn’t have to pay for two cones if the employee made a mistake on the first one. Was also not happy that it was so hard to get any of the employees attention either. See...

Worst Dunkin’ I’ve ever been to ( one good quality explained at end ). I’ve been to this place many times over the years and the way it has been running for the past year or so is absolutely horrible. This place is one of the dirtiest dunkin’s I’ve been to. The counters are usually covered in spilled coffee, cream, sugar, etc. and as far as things are visible from the other side of a register, a lot of the coffee machines, counters, ice containers, ice cream toppings, donut racks, and so on were clearly not being cleaned regularly. I haven’t been there since last summer but the manager I saw over that period of time (Nick I think was his name) for the few moments were probably the least competent moments. Much of it had to do with his terrible attitude. Absolutely worst managed place I’ve been to. The one thing I will give credit to and appreciate was the down-to-earthness and kindness of the staff. Without a doubt this is the worst Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbin’s franchise. They have a 90% success rate at totally disregarding orders when it comes to Baskin Robbin’s.

Shame on myself for trying 5 separate times over a year period thinking maybe they have new workers and they’ve gotten better. They do have new workers, but whoever is responsible for training and quality control at the establishment isn’t doing their job. Some of the issues I’ve had is every milkshake they prepare is 85% milk 15% ice cream even when you try and tell them to only use a quarter of the usual milk amount. Milkshakes are basically soup in a cup and not even that cold since it’s all milk.

Unfortunately the list of issues is too many to write. It doesn’t matter if you go inside or use the drive thru. The outcome is...
