Gemini Deli & Catering — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Because I always end up waiting anywhere from 10-15+ minutes for a simple turkey sandwich, and wasting my lunch break, I decided to call ahead of time and place the order, for pick up - not even delivery. I was told that it would be 20 minutes, before I could pick up my honey maple turkey sandwich, on rye, with lettuce/tomatoes and mustard - that was it, my entire order.

I waited 25 minutes, then headed over, the short distance from my office. I got there and waited on that long line for an additional five minutes+. When I got to the front of the line to pay and pick up my order, I was told that it would be another minute. Another minute turned into 20 minutes. When I asked the cashier how long it would be/why it was taking so long, she was rude and disrespectful to me, saying that it was not her problem and not her fault, and that I would just have to wait. Very rude! Even her body language was dismissive and unapologetic.

To add insult to injury, when I did finally get my sandwich, after a total of 45 minutes - it was not made as I asked. They gave me a cracked pepper and jalapeño jack cheese sandwich on a roll! Had it not been for the fact that I'd already paid, and I had to get back to work, I would have asked for a full reimbursement - which they should have offered! They never even apologized, for the terribly long wait, or for making me the wrong sandwich.

The service is absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. That aside, the wait is always long, and the food is overpriced. I do not recommend this deli to anyone. I wish there would have been an option to not give any stars, because that is what they really...

Good food, good pricing, and very speedy when you pick something up quickly!

Note that this place is definitely for pick-up, there are a few outdoor tables, but for one reason or another there always tends to be something that disturbs us when we try to eat there...Weird air flow making it extra windy, tons of bees in August-sept, eTc...but you can definitely give it a shot, maybe you'll have better luck!

The pre-made salads are good, and I'm a huge fan of the meatball parm. I'd recommend trying to go early in the lunch hour to avoid the line, but even at peak time they move...

Seriously the worst deli in this area. Food is overpriced, delivery is always late. Broth for the matzo soup is literally colored water and the matzo balls in my delivery were hard as rocks and gray inside. YUM. Paninis are decent, but if you get a made to order sandwich with a more common coldcut, don't expect it to be sliced fresh. Sometimes I'll forget how bad this place is and get a delivery order because those options are limited around here and, like today, every time I am reminded that I should have just...
