Tap & Tapas — Restaurant in Town of Huntington

Looking for a new restaurant to try, my wife came across Tap & Tapas just outside of downtown Northport. We arrived right before our reservation and were greeted warmly & allowed to choose our preferred seat outside on their lovely patio.

The menu + specials had an amazing mix of vegetarian / vegan options, I would say close to 50% of their menu was at least vegetarian, which was very welcome.

We got a mix of tapas & shared a pitcher of their classic red sangria. We shared patatas bravas, beets in goat cheese, a cheese charcuterie board, marinated olives, and ended with a pistachio cheese cake. The food was all clearly fresh & of high quality, very delicious. The staff was all warm & inviting & attentive to our needs throughout our evening.

I recently returned from a trip to Spain, where I fell in love with the local tapas. Naturally, I was on the lookout for an authentic tapas experience back here . Based on some excellent reviews, I decided to try this cozy little place, One great feature is the outdoor seating area, where you can bring your dog. The tapas here are simply outstanding! Each dish transported me back to Spain with its authentic flavors. The taste was remarkably similar to what I enjoyed during my trip. The sangrias were superb as well. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and ensured that our dining experience was top-notch. Don’t walk, run, if you’re handicapped, hop, or start wheeling.

If you can, and you have an appitite, order the entire menu.

This place may be off the main path (just off it) but it’s one of the best places in northport hands down.

The flavors of the food are balanced perfectly with their spices.

It introduces you to a new culture food, incredible food.

Chef Ramon is exactly what northport needed for some spice, and adventure in the culinary space.

The music while dining is a vibe, found it hard to control myself dancing to the music with my fiancé while indulging in a wonderful experience.

We were there for 3 hours, the time flys when the staff lets you enjoy yourself without a rush to flip a table.
