Bayport Bagels — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I had never been here before, despite living in the area for a couple years. I spoke with the woman behind the counter expressing this and she was super friendly and welcoming. Ordering my bagel, I was excited to try their jalapeno cc as I love spicy foods. When I went to pay, she told me it was on-the-house. I insisted, but so did she and I started my day with a pleasant treat. I waited til I actually ate the bagel to post as not to be biased and I am quite pleased with my morning snack. The bagel was delicious, flavorful and a non-whole wheat bagel and the cream cheese was generously spread with the perfect amount of spice. So I do love this place. Bagels are great; soft yet crunchy on the outside. But lately they haven't been making me happy. For christmas, I got a dozen bagels, yet half the bagels weren't what I wanted when the girl wrote down specifically how many I wanted and of what kind I wanted. I went back today and got breakfast for the family and I order just egg whites, cheese, and tomato with a side of turkey bacon, but there was no tomato. It was pretty simple, but please just make sure you make what the customer asks its frustrating paying for something that isn't what you want. I'll still be back because I do like this...

Well normally I never have a problem there, love Karen and Barbara. But the one guy that works there has an attitude because I don’t say hello to him. The reason for that is, is because 3 times when I asked for a certain thing, he gives me something else and then has the balls to say, I don’t k ow how that happened.
