Bellina's Pizza and Restaurant — Restaurant in Town of Islip

I work down the street from Bellina's and visit semi-regularly for lunch. I have yet to have a bad experience. Normally I order pizza. The sauce has a nice taste and the crust is cooked perfectly every time. Whenever I order toppings (usually sausage) I always find that they do not skimp. There is always a generous amount of topping on the pizza. I just changed it up and ordered a lunch chicken parmigiana hero, which was, of course, up the the same quality I have come to expect from this place. For only $4.50 my hero was over-stuffed, the chicken was clearly fresh, and it had a nice taste. To top off the good food, the staff are always friendly.

The 1st time I ordered food to be delivered from Martino's, I did not receive my salad, bread & garlic knots. Delivery person went back for them.Yesterday was the 2nd time I ordered food to be delivered. The same mistake was made as the first time. Ordered dinner w/salad, bread, & garlic knots. Was told 45 mins. When delivery person arrived (after an HOUR) no salad, bread or garlic knots. Goes back to get them, comes back w/no bread! Can't make change for a $20. Garlic knots cold. Dinner now cool due to waiting for all this. Charged delivery fee although that is not stated anywhere on the takeout menu. Been to Martino's many of time for lunch and dinner and felt it was about time I give this great little pizzeria in the heart of East Islip its due . The food is always good and always more than enough. The standard neapolitan pizza is some of the best around as is the grandam pizza. I work in an office in the area and the staff will either order in / get take out (Martino's delivers) for lunch or about once a week we'll get out and eat at the pizzeria. Sometimes we'll go for Pasta Night on Tuesdays when my wife and I will get the Penne Alla Vodka (Sooo Good). I had them cater Christmas Eve this year. They did a great job.
