Edit: The owners have reached out and I have to say that they truly care about every customer that walks through those doors. While speaking, I noticed the passion they have for making their shop better than it was bfore. They were very understanding and listened to my concerns. Their actions overshadowed the bad experience I had. This place definitely deserves a second chance. I will be back!

I've been visiting for quiet a while now and I really like the staff except for the male barista and one female. I ordered the pistachio latte on the last week it was offered. Usually it comes out just right but this time it felt like there was barely any syrup. The first rude action I experienced was the male barista pretty much throwing the plastic straw on the table instead of gently placing it on the table. I personally dislike going up and asking for extra pumps but the latte felt underwhelming. I asked for help and the front staff were very kind but the male barsita looked annoyed/pissed off and his actions showed that he did something to the drink b/c he was laughing with his female coworker (he prob added too much pumps) because it ended up too sweet. Not only did he "throw" the straw at the beginning, he threw it again after fixing my drink. I haven't been back since. It only takes one bad experience to deter customers away. I hope they give him some customer service courses because his actions...

Genuine act of human kindness. The first google review I have ever left in my life. I was at work when I ordered a Matcha Latte w/ Almond Foam for delivery through a delivery service. I had added in the note that I was severely lactose intolerant. When I received the drink, I realized that I did not know if the foam contained dairy. I had called right after taking a few large sips of this drink inquiring. The nice girl on the phone revealed to me that the foam was made with heavy cream to my dismay. Although, the kitchen never received the note on my order, the staff were incredibly apologetic. The manager (from my understanding) had gotten on the phone to extend apologies to me for the mishap. He requested my work address & PERSONALLY in his work uniform and delivered a new drink w/ almond milk foam on top & a gift card. It was my first time ever ordering from them, and not only did they have such compassion about the situation, they went above and beyond to make up for something they didn’t even do. So far I’ve stopped in here to grab breakfast and now lunch. Both experiences have been more than satisfying and surprising. This is not your typical middle island style stop. It has Brooklyn vibes and Long Island farm fresh style food. The coffee is good but I’m not a coffee aficionado so maybe it’s great and I just don’t know it. Food is my forte and damn it was good. Portions were perfect and I was surprised by the reasonable price. I’m especially impressed by the side selection and availability. This visit I had the chicken sandwich with a side beet & fig salad and my husband had the Thai wrap with a coconut soup.
