This isn’t a review based off my experience dining here but rather my experience trying to work at this location. I applied in indeed and got a callback within 20 minutes which was great because we immediately scheduled a time for an interview. However, I called back the day of the interview just to ask if they’d prefer I bring in another hard copy of my resume or email it to them (a lot of places always request another resume just to ensure it’s up to date no matter how recently you applied) just to find out the interviewer, Jackie, confused when we’re supposed to meet. She listed it for the day prior meaning I already missed it but I repeated back the date and time to her during our first call. I tried to explain this to her and then suggest we schedule a new date and time, hopefully via email so there’s concrete proof, and she cut me off annoyed before I could even finish and just doubled down on me having missed the interview. Of course, I could have continued to try and plead my case and insist on rescheduling but from her tone of voice it would clearly be a waste of time even if I did get her to agree because she had clearly already made up her mind about whether or not to hire me. I am especially annoyed because I made sure to not only repeat it back to her but also because I missed out on another interview since the time they wanted to meet may have conflicted with this interview because I was unsure of the duration and I also understand that others interviews may run long and I’ll be unable to be seen on time. Clearly, I was foolish to try and prioritize this interview and will not consider this company in the future. Read moreWe've been taking our grandkids for ice cream every other day after bowling. We were spending a little over $30.00 every time. This ice cream stop at Friendly's was every other day fir the past month.I did get coupons for 5.oo off 30.00 having said that the one employee did honor the coupon 2 days ago. I can prove this as I have the receipts.We decided we would go fo a bite to eat for dinner today ,having said that we ordered our meal which I paid 14.99 for a salad the server said it was very large , I got my salad and it was not very large , my husband got a burger & fries which was a regular burger it was OK. Then we get the bill and I had the last of the coupons for $ 5.00 the server didn't know how to take it off the bill soo she went to get the manager who tried to take the 5.00 off after a bit the server came back to us and told us they couldn't get it to work . The server from the day before was there and I said ask that server he's the one that got it to work two days ago.The manager went back in the kitchen and the server said we couldn't use the coupon. It's not about the coupon it's the way it was handled. The salad is definitely a rip off, and for a 5.oo coupon they lost very good customers and we'll NEVER set foot in there again. What started as a nice dinner went way south when I saw the size of the salad and the cherry on top was 2 people including the manager couldn't get the coupon to work ,it was not a great experience. So for 5.00 they lost very loyal customers who spent a nice piece of change atleast every other day since school has been out!!. Terrible...
Read moreOne of the worst place I have ever been. There was an old white lady was serving me. They made us wait so long. They weren’t even busy bc the store had just opened and there was someone already there sitted. I took my kids to eat bc it was his birthday he turned 3years old and I was with my 1 year old too. The place was dirty I had to clean the table myself. I told the lady it was my son’s birthday if he can get cake and sing to him. She said yes. I was very polite to her. But she was not one of the worst waitresses. She did not have her mask on her face. Kept touching her nose. Sneezing. Talking over me with no mask on. They do not follow the COVID protocol. After she served me i said thank you 3 time she did not answer. I had to ask her for crayons for my kids to draw she didn’t want to give it to me until insist. Very rude. She was very nice to the other white customers but not me I don’t know if she don’t like kids or if it was bc I was black I will never eat there again. The desert was trash. I had them throw it out. They can’t even Sing happy birthday for a baby that’s sad. I don’t recommend anyone to eat there. There steak was pink I throw up felt nauseous once I got home.
