Bayway Arts Center — Attraction in Town of Islip

If you have not yet visited the " Bayway Arts Center," you are missing out. No need to worry about parking, there's plenty of room for all. Looking for a snack? Check out the brand new Cafe. Oh,and the best part.....the events. Life is tough and you deserve to treat yourself so head on over to " Bayway " to catch a show. Although I am an actor,model, and comedian; I was recently at the " Bayway " to work at a film festival. Alex and Taylor were amazing! Taylor made me feel right at home as I took over the box office. She was kind, knowledgeable, and so very accommodating. It was a pleasure chatting with her about our entertainment interests and I'm excited to work with her again. We are long time subscribers to this theater and have definitely missed then during the pandemic. Although the quality has been good for years, they have new owners and have soared! This first play was a wonderful, well performed musical and bodies well for the subscription series. The physical setting of the theater has been upgraded. They have added a "Rick's Cafe" open an hour before and after the show. Lovely music was playing, coffee soft drinks wine and beer available as were sweet and savory snacks. The theatre is great. The dressing rooms were a mess, Bathrooms were out of order and horrible puddles of water, all over. Carpet wet, no warning from staff, no one came to soak up the water. Performers had no place else to get ready for the show. Not sure why no one attempted to soak up the water before the performers showed up. Maybe they never heard of...
