Furci's Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Islip

Great quality food, I used to love this place, and have recommended them countless times since 2010. I've met the owner on numerous occasions and it seems when he's not there customer service goes out the window. I've tried to order a veal parm hero and have been told "no veal" 4 separate times, yet it's about 20% of their menu. Last straw, just called to order a Chicken Ala Vodka Pie. Was put on hold because "he had to check" came back and told me they wouldn't make it. I've been ordering this pie for the last 8 years, but with an hour and a half left to close they refused to make another menu item. It's a shame and at the same time has made Furci's a complete joke in my mind. What's even worse is how I would brag to friends and family about this place being the best. When the owner's not there, they're the best low level customer service slackers in the area. I really can’t rate the atmosphere or service because it’s just a pizza place with a few tables. I haven’t been there in awhile and decided to pick up a veal francese hero. When I got home and opened it, I was shocked. I never had a hero this bad. The veal was cut into strips and there was hardly any sauce on it. The sauce didn’t even taste like Frances’s sauce tot was sort of a white cream sauce with no taste. If they used one veal cutlet, I’d be surprised. There was nothing on this hero. Plus, the veal was fried and dry. I don’t know what happened to this place since the last time I was there (about 6 months ago), but I’d never go back. It was really $16 wasted. Delicious Pizza & Even Better Service!

I'm a huge fan of Furci's store. The pizza place next door is just as good! Came in on a Saturday afternoon. The men working behind the counter were all so friendly! They showed me all of the different pizzas that the offer plus other menu items! The prices are comparable to every other pizza place locally. There's a tiny parking lot, but you should be able to find a space.

As for the pizza, OMG yum! Tried a Shrimp Parm Slice and it was fabulous. The BBQ chicken slice was also great. The garlic knots were nice and fresh. But the star of the show has to be their Ham Rollups.
