Avoid this place — terrible service and poor food quality

We arrived at the restaurant around 10:00 p.m. and were greeted in what seemed like a friendly manner. We had just sat down when the server immediately came back to take our order. We politely asked for one more minute, but she rather rudely told us it was “last call” and that we needed to order — even though it was only 10:00 p.m.

We decided to stick with our usual: a couple of drinks and the hibachi filet mignon plates. The food arrived quickly, but the portions were extremely small, almost as if they were serving the leftovers from the night. To make matters worse, the moment she served the food, she also dropped off the check — at 10:20 p.m. — despite Google Maps clearly stating the restaurant closes at 11:00 p.m.

From that moment, the atmosphere became extremely uncomfortable. Staff started turning off the music, chatting among themselves, switching off the TVs, and even dimming the lights, basically rushing us out. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to claim to close at 11:00 p.m. but pressure customers to eat and leave within 20 minutes of arriving.

By the time we left, my appetite and mood were completely gone. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone — poor service, poor portions, and an unwelcoming...

Ordered take out for our first visit to Mugi. Excellent customer service. Dinner for 3 was reasonably priced, with tax $62.00. I forgot to take pictures before serving our dinner, was so excited to enjoy it! Bento box teriyaki chicken was well prepared, large serving and included tempura! I ordered sushi: eel avocado roll and spicy tuna roll. Very well prepared, even flavors in each bite, fresh. Reasonably priced. Our birthday boy son who selected Japanese dinner ordered tonkatsu, that was also well prepared. I will def go back to try specialty rolls. Only 4 stars for 2 reasons, 1. the salads served with bento box and tonkatsu combined did not equal the amount of one lettuce leaf. They were so small that 1 tsp of dressing was too much. 2. half of the flimsy plastic lids that covered our aluminum food containers were broken. We had 10 containers. That's a lot of broken lids. It was disappointing. Better packaging is warranted that can withstand the heat of the food and then being stacked in a take out bag. That having been said, the quality of the food is worth visiting Mugi again. I will try dine...

this place is absolutely terrible and all the staff is rude! I ordered lunch for our office for takeout and they gave me something completely different than what i ordered which i didn’t notice until after i returned so I called to let them know and they said they would correct it. I requested delivery as i had gone to pick up during my lunch break and they agreed to drop it out. The delivery driver brought the correct order but would not give it to me until i gave him the other order (not just show him it was incorrect but he said he needed to take it back). He was disrespectful and rude saying he did not care for our business as customers just because i asked what they wanted the plate back for. I'm not sure why they wanted it back and the only thing i can think of is they were going to use it to serve it to someone else. I'm completely baffled by the way they run their business, it's disgusting and their lack of customer service is a shame. I would not recommend to anyone.
