Pita & Pizza — Restaurant in Town of Islip

My experience here? let's talk about my first time: I walked in , was ignored at the counter. Workers don't look so busy, but ok! I wait 5mins, a girl comes over, looks annoyed that she has to take my order. I get my order taken with an attitude. Long story short , it's rare that you come in here and get good energy. Even in the early afternoon! The time doesn't matter. I just had to share my story Bc it's crazy that more than one person feels that way. So guess what? You guys need to tighten up some things. People that live in this community comes here all the time for the grilled chicken. (Because that's the only great thing) , but we come here ! And spend our hard earned money on hard days that we don't feel like cooking. And for ppl who serve you the food to have such a nasty attitude is ridiculous. Last thing. Whoever does the late vinegar and oil sauce for the chicken, knows how to do it. Why everytime I come in the day time it's straight herbs and oil. No vinegar! Like who wants to dip their chicken in straight oil???? That's soo not appealing. Anyway I haven't been here in 2 weeks. Just thinking what to eat and got pissed thinking...

I have been going here for over a year due to ingnorant convenience. This place has gone from bad to worst, it's rundown, the food always looks dry and old, the service has often been terrible. In the summer and spring,I have always seen flies, even on the open aired garlic knots, really!! I am always disappointed when I order, always! Ohh... If anyone took the time to give a review of 3 stars or better, I'm certain it's either an employee, friend, or family of the place, because this place is too washed up with bad food, bad service, and if you don't believe me, walk inside, it's dirty and...

Maybe if the girls who take orders in this place paid more attention to what they were doing unless attention to their phones they might get the orders correct once in a while... Example: I just ordered a pita and a pork souvlaki... After being question over and over again if I wanted french fries the answer was sounding no... I told her I want red sauce and I want it on the side... Amazing as it may sound.. they sent me two microscopic cups of yogurt sauce (tahini)... This place is a sad excuse for a pizza place go back to wherever you came...
