Victorian Room — Restaurant in Town of Islip

This is the place that you need if you want to say “EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT”.

Since the first moment that I saw the place over the website I was interested but when I visited it I love it.

The smell, the decorative look and ambiance and the amazing big space is amazing for different activities.

We celebrated our baby shower here. The team, was so kind, attentive, caring and up to every single detail. Since I met Gina she was very nice to me, explained everything and showed us everything. During the event, Gina and Alex were working together really hard so everything was smooth. They were gracious and always with a smile. All my guests felt very happy and pleased with the service and attention. The place includes seasonal decorations, amazing food, you have to pick according to your preferences from the varied menu!!!, silverware, fabric napkins, and dinner plates (so you don’t have to rent any of that because it’s included). The tables and chairs are comfortable, sturdy and beautiful too. If there are children among the guests, they are prepared with high chairs. At least I peak a menu that included different meats, seasonal and regular pastries and a cake and EVERYTHING was delicious. The cake was beautifully decorated and was filled with lemon and raspberry. I still think about this event that happened 3 days ago and can’t get over it, it surpassed my expectations. It also has a lot of parking nearby.

This place has so many positive qualities that make it worth having your special event here. The price is reasonable and accessible, even for big groups. Now I know that I have that beautiful place so close by with everything included. Without any doubt I would...

Where to begin... I had my wedding reception here and other than the servers being friendly and our maitre d' being very helpful and accomodating- no instructions were left for them. When we arrived at the time the reception should have started the room wasn't ready and tables were set up incorrectly so that we had no dance floor space as well as the bride and groom table had to be requested to be set up (we paid for the whole place/both rooms too) some items that were supposed to be served were not such as the Paninis, danishes and mini donuts and mind you that was a big part of the reason we chose the brunch!...and although we had a cake tasting our wedding cake was dry and tasted nothing like the cake we tasted and picked. I also had to ask that they bring our wedding cake out for the whole reception which is usual. Honestly, who pays all that extra money and have a personally designed cake and not have it out during their reception/celebration? During our first dance the song was cut off and after already being nervous I was then embarrassed... There were a few more issues but I'll stop now. Maybe a nice place to eat or go on a date and personally I love their decor but they can be a bit more competent when it comes to something along the lines of a party especially a wedding reception... This criticism is long overdue and sorry Lenny but this is what happened at our reception and also maybe if you didn't have your kids running around and being distracting during our consultations some of those mistakes wouldn't have been made...Also maybe the days you have a wedding reception going on you should actually be there at least while everything is being set...
