This is a great gem of a place to stop and have lunch, a mid-afternoon snack, or dinner. This gastropub is the pure definition of local. They source high quality ingredients from surrounding farms from their meat to the cheese and even the bread. The staff is extremely friendly and are happy to talk about where the food is from, their philosophy about beer, or to just chat about the local town. They even gave me a great recommendations for other restaurants in the area. The sandwiches here are fantastic. There were four of us and we just got a few sandwiches and split them. Read moreWe loved this place so much. The staff was so kind and easy to talk to. The food was wonderful. We had the landlord board and the chèvre and honey sandwich. Both were incredible, so simple, but in a very elegant way.
At the end of our meal, my husband and I were talking about how we didn’t feel like the place was stuffy or too high brow for people who just want a relaxed experience. A bar, but really felt like having a nice lunch at a good friends house.
