First off we ordered take out from here so I can't describe the actual place just the food. I ordered the bbq pulled pork Panini which came in a torpedo roll and a bowl of chili. Unfortunately the chili wasn't in stock so they gave me Chicken Tarragon soup instead. My favorite part of the meal was the soup, it had such a rustic and home like taste that I was blown away. If all their soup is like that I would go back on that alone. My second favorite part was the deli pickle which I can never pass up. As for the sandwich I was less impressed by. The biggest issue was the roll wasnt toased and made the whole thing suffer for it. All my other issues with it were more personal preference. I wasn't a fan of the cheese or the bbq sauce (too sweet for me I prefer smokey). The rest was fine but without the crunch of a toasted roll it was texturally one note. I should also mention my coworker got the Reuben sandwich which he liked a lot but also was disappointed on a non-toasted roll as well. I would definitely recommend checking the...
Read moreMy husband and I have gone to this deli several times over the past few years, as they were one of the only delis around that carries Boar’s Head deli meats and cheeses. Every time we’ve gone there the service has been underwhelming, especially if the owner is waiting on us. Most times the owner of a place is especially accommodating, showing appreciation for your patronage; this is not the case with this owner. Last week we tried to purchase deli meats and they were closed. Only open 1130-3 most days... Today, my husband went during their business hours and was told they don’t sell deli meats during lunch hours... When you’re only open for four hours during that day when are customers allowed to come to purchase deli items?? They were not accommodating and the owner was unfriendly. We will no longer be going to this deli as there was another deli down the road we discovered with great customer service and the deli meats we’re...
Read moreThis is the closest gluten-free restaurant to me. So happy to finally visit them! The food is fresh, creative and so tasty! Nice people who own and work it. We love how they serve your meal with a smile. We had stopped by to just see the place the other day and they gave my daughter free popcorn without us asking for anything or buying anything.
The decor is pretty and colorful. It is much quieter and less chaotic than the Broadway Deli in Manhattan. I used to go there after plays when I lived in NYC. The tables have playbills sealed into them and the walls are covered with signed autograph photos of actors. They have various songs from plays coming from the overhead speakers. You can enjoy your meal...
