Holy homemade paneer, Batman. I'll be real-- the food took a minute. I ordered takeaway and they said 25 minutes and it ended up being more like 40 minutes, so I wouldn't recommend this place if you're in a rush. Also, I ordered the tikka masala which in my experience has tomato in it but this was very brown in color and quite minimal on the saucy side. Personal preference, but I like a rich, creamy sauce. All that said, the flavor of the spices used was lovely. For the area, the prices are a little bit high and the portions don't really commensurate. But now let me get back to the paneer. I'm willing to overlook a lot for this paneer. Maybe everything. It's so soft and moist. I'll be back, I'll wait as long as they need me to, and I'll fork over whatever price they set. It's so nice to have a vegetarian place in the area as well. We need more delicious and healthy food places in the area!

We were camping nearby and wanted to try something local and unique. We were with some vegetarian friends and were very surprised to see a vegetarian restaurant nearby. We are so happy we stopped by Red Dot. We ordered 'chicken' nuggets, fishless tacos, and the BLAT wrap. Wish I had taken photos of everything. The BLAT wrap was definitely a highlight. The staff was very accommodating and able to seat us even with two large dogs. The only downside may have been the wait. Meals are made fresh as they are ordered so it took a while to get our food. However, the quality definitely makes it worth the wait. They were relatively busy though so not sure how the wait would have been during non-peak hours. Would definitely come back here when in the area.

We will no longer come here due to constant wait times of 2+ hours for food with zero apology given (Not to be seated. There's usually only 1 or MAX 2 other tables dining in when this happens.)

I'd highly recommend if you do not mind waiting that you call 1.5-2 hours before you're even hungry to order. Order it to go ONLY. And leave yourself time to wait. (We've arrived the time they told us and waited 30-45 minutes.)

A poor group of three ordered dine in and only one person got their food. An hour later another. They told them they were leaving because they didn't want to continue to wait. Then miraculously the third persons salad would be ready in five minutes. They were told it was because they had been out of that specific dressing so that caused the wait.

We unfortunately will just stick to the vegan places we love in new paltz, beacon, and port jervis from now on. We just can't justify the wait times anymore after it happening so often. They seem to not care at all about the frustration when we mentioned it and just claim that this type of food takes a long time. They should not offer dine in if they can not provide good service to people. And they clearly don't care at all about the poor service as they've never addressed it with anyone I know thats dealt with the same.

Edit: I just read that the tips provided dont go to the servers....

Me and a friend stopped by to grab a meal. We sat outside and ordered Thai iced tea which was refreshing and we both ordered another one. We ordered our food which took about 45 minutes to come. The waitress did not come and check on us. I had to go inside and ask how long the food will take. Thank goodness we didn't have anywhere to go. My food was good. I ordered the Tikka Masala Curry. My friend got the Blat sandwich which was missing a side salad. We went inside to ask about the side salad and they said they put it on the sandwich which was nowhere near the size of a side salad. They brought out the salad anyway with no dressing or seasoning which should have come with olive oil or lemon juice. The second round of drinks were not as good as the first round because they said they didn't have the same ingredients so of course they did not taste the same as the first time. The one waitress complained about alot going wrong in the kitchen that day. I'm not sure I will be back. The location is nice. The aesthetic is cool but they need some customer service training and definitely a...

Funny how Steven Swift and Susan Quick both left 1 star reviews that were about 2 hour wait times. I’ve eaten here many times and NEVER waited longer than half an hour for food to be served. The food is consistently delicious and the staff are always nice. I have experienced some head scratching service there - like long waits to place an order or silverware and napkins not being put on the table when they were only one or two other tables full. Has sort of felt like they were trained badly or whoever’s in charge doesn’t really care if the servers are inattentive. They are laid back, what can I say? The food makes up for the spotty service tho and as mentioned I’ve never experienced a wait longer than 30 mins for food. I agree that ‘food being made from scratch’ is no excuse for excessive wait times. It’s just lousy kitchen management. If I ever go and have some crazy wait I’ll update...
