If I could give this place zero stars I would. I just left the store after ordering a classic bagel with 2 eggs and sausage that was never even made. Now I hate making things about race but I find it pretty interesting how I was the first person in the store who ordered, but the customers after me all got their orders & mine was surprisingly never put in after 15 minutes of me waiting for it. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this is absolutely ridiculous. I arrived around 7:40am with the store completely empty and not at all busy. Had to begin the greeting with the two lady’s at the counter who couldn’t be bothered to stop their conversation to greet the customer. Ordered my bagel, paid and tipped. 15 minutes go by and I get up to finally ask about my order after seeing customers come and go and my order still not ready & the lady behind the counter asked me to repeat my order because it was never placed…. My uber was already outside so I asked her to refund it and print me a receipt. She conveniently couldn’t print me a receipt and refunded the price of the sandwich but not the undeserved tip. Left with no breakfast while every other customer in the store had no issues placing and receiving their orders quickly. Definitely not a place that could ever get my money again. Wasn’t even offered an apology or empathetic response in any manner. Absolutely terrible customer service and a blatant disregard for accountability. Get your bagels and sandwiches...
Read moreFood is usually ok. Went to get latest bagels and they had mat fiber in the bagels. When to shop to tell them about it and they didn’t make much of it and just said to me that sometimes this happens lol so check your bagels when you get them from them :) also one of the staff went to cashier and steaks give him the money back so you can get him (me) out of here lol. I’m Addison the cashier said “I knew fiber in the bagel was going to be an issue” . Right before we arrive the manager there had already complained about the previous customer right in front of me.

Unreal response from the owner. There was no yelling and customers can attest to that . We asked to go on the side but one of the employee decided not to and act completely normal that there was fiber in my bagel. The bagels weren’t eaten we turn 2 full bagels and half since there bagels had the fiber from the cloth. Avoid this place and go to the Trax deli which is full of hard working people. I've noticed a lot of tough reviews for the shop lately -- and while I understand the service can be lacking at times, the bagels are still, in this hardened New Yorker's opinion, the best within a 10 mile radius. If anything, Sofia's can benefit from a more stringent service training program, and many of the folks behind the counter are younger and inexperienced. I can sympathize with their position, as it's not easy to get in veteran bagel help in a small town! But perhaps a bit stricter management and senior presence will help tighten things up and prevent further negative reviews.
