Silvio's Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Mount Pleasant

First off to start off, i've been here a few times before and only just now writing a review of this place. Been here before while attending the thornwood car show, which is located in this shopping center, which also probably drives customers here. They have tables in the back of the place where one can eat pizza, and they also have booths where if you wanted to one can get served by a waiter or waitress. Mostly, my parents and I ordered takeout, and we just ate it in the back room where tables are. They have pizzas, wraps, entrees, and more. Went here on Saturday August 24th 2024, to get some pizza with my parents because we were hungry. We went in, actually sort of waited a while, but we had to decide what we wanted anyways. on display, they had all sorts of pizza from chicken fajita to buffalo, to chicken bacon ranch, to spinach, to salad, sausage and peppers, meatballs, and some rolls like spinach. Luckily they have a lot of options. I decided to go for the chicken fajita slice, my mom got a spinach slice, and my dad got a spinach roll and a brocoli slice. Person was pleasant who took our order, and gave us a buzzer that let us know when the food was ready. We also got 2 sodas, a fanta and a root beer. The price was about $30.00. We sat and ate it in the back room. Pizza came out hot, and was very tasty! i enjoyed the chicken fajita slice! Restroom was also very clean. Would come...

Highly disappointed more than once. Have kept coming back to give it another chance and after tonight, I’ll head over to Dino’s or Margherita. I order from Slice: chicken roll, fries, mozzarella sticks and meatball parm wedge at 545pm on a Friday night. Busy time, yes, but not a huge order. App said pick up in 15-20 minutes. I showed up at 6pm and waited for an additional 40 minutes as other customers came in and ordered in person and left with large orders of food that were not only pizza. I can understand it being a busy Friday night, but the response from the guy in charge was: “it’s a busy Friday night. Sorry we can’t make orders in the time that everyone wants.” No offer for a discount or sincere apology. I had a nice attitude and waited patiently. Will not return. The food isn’t even that good anyway, and don’t care to support a business that doesn’t care about customer...

The food was wonderful. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our group had the chicken marsala (flavorful, covered in easily a half-pound of mushrooms), the chicken parm (a standard in any Italian restaurant but well-made and tasty) and Linguine Forense (linguine covered with shrimp, olives, and capers with red sauce that was amazing and different from the usual). Even the salad was great! The collection of bread choices was excellent and plentiful. The only thing that was better than the food was the service. The waitress was pleasant, attentive to our needs, made suggestions to cost effectiveness (instead of individual salads get a large one for the table, etc.), and even fancied up the desserts since we were celebrating two birthdays. Not bad since she was working a full dining area. Staff was masked, tables were distanced. All in all...
