Burrito Burrito — Restaurant in Town of New Paltz

Bad experience with this business as a woman and a parent. I went there to get food with my 15 year old daughter for the first time this past month. When we arrived my daughter was walking ahead of me on her phone and there was a man standing outside smoking and said “damn girl”. Do you hit on every underage girl in town? This grown man with a beard & long hair looked to be 30-40 years old. When we went inside this man followed us inside and ended up being the worker! Inside he was overly flirty and made us both feel very uncomfortable. To make matters worse he took our order and helped prepare our food without washing his hands. Last time I checked that is a health code violation, especially after hanging out outside smoking. Gross. We live locally and ever since this experience when we drive through town we notice this same worker always hanging out on the street smoking cigarettes and “vaping devices” with large groups of friends. I hope the owner knows this is a very bad look for business. This might appeal to certain crowds when college is in but it sure won’t appeal to us locals. I made a post about this on my social media and a lot of friends agreed how they haven’t tried this establishment due to how dirty the image has looked. Clean up your act. Ordered food from here after seeing the positive reviews on Doordash (200+), however, I was pretty dissappointed when I received the food. I ordered the Sweet Thai Chili Chicken quesadilla and chips and queso with salsa.

The food was somewhat cold and tasted like it was sitting for a while. The quesdillas were incredibly oily and messy and the fillings were falling out constantly. The worst part was that the quesdillas was really bland and was devoid of any real flavor. The queso was super thin and runny and also didn't taste that great. Sour cream smelled expired and the only things that weren't negative were the chips and salsa.

Overall, it was a pretty dissappointing experience. If you want good hispanic food, I recommend Los Jalapeños...

I’m honestly pretty disappointed. The food is lower quality now after new ownership. There used to be actual bacon in the chicken bacon ranch and now it’s just bacon bits. The burrito I ordered was all beans and rice and very little meat. They added barbecue to the chicken bacon ranch? That’s not even a chicken bacon ranch anymore.
