I’ve visited the B-Side Grill a few times before I decided to do this review on it because I felt like they truly deserved a good one.

I arrived at the B-Side Grill on a Tuesday at around 2 PM. There was a family of three as well as a group of four younger patrons also inside with room to spare in the form of booths and picnic tables and benches. It has a very apparent outdoor feel.

Their menus are creative with quite a few choices covering all the key food areas like wraps, burgers and the like, but mostly standard with quite an array of breakfast items. I decided after looking to try one of the signature Wraps called the Method Man which consisted of Mozzarella, baby spinach, homemade bruschetta, roasted peppers under a balsamic reduction.

They also possess some other neat wraps named My Cousin Vinny (Philly Cheese), Apple Bottom Greens (Turkey, apples, bacon, cheddar cheese, chipotle mayo, greens and tomatoes), etc.

There is certainly something for everyone on their menu!

I was greeted right away and my order was taken almost immediately by a nice young man. He was extremely courteous and attentive during my visit.

Each time I’ve visited (maybe 6 times), the entire staff has always been extremely friendly, courteous, and fairly efficient.

Compared to others with similar appeal and menus I would say they are more affordable.

The chicken fingers (3) and fries at the time was $8.95 & my ā€œMethod Manā€ wrap (and all wraps) was $12.95.

The theme inside is quite obviously music being the main ingredient as you can see in the photos. Records everywhere, vintage pieces that give it a real nice design. For me, I enjoyed the atmosphere, but I did give that portion only four stars because it was a bit busy and perhaps maybe looked at as slightly over the top. I would prefer a little more of a clean look and probably keep the ceiling clear.

After briefly looking over the extensive menu, I decided to order a Method Man wrap which is one of their signature wraps, as well as some chicken fingers appetizer. I know the wrap is simple enough to make but both came out at the same time and I wasn’t asked what I prefer.

Both orders came with a nice sized portion of fries, which I must say are much better than many I’ve tasted at other restaurants . They were not oily or salty, cooked just right for my taste.

The Method Man is absolutely delicious and the wrap itself is quite big with only finishing half and taking half home after eating all of the chicken fingers and one order of fries. It is easy to see that all the veggie parts of my wrap as well as the cheese was super fresh, light and very tasty.

The chicken fingers were definitely on the upper level of quality as compared to all the others that I’ve had before. Cooked correct and brought to the table with the right temperature so I could eat soon after it arrived.

I would absolutely recommend both dishes.

On other occasions I’ve usually had breakfast, which in my opinion is what this small venue is known in town for. They always have a large number of take out orders lined up and are usually very busy in that regard.

It does contain a small bathroom for customers which I thought was very good, stocked well. I would just recommend they do weekly dusting at the top since it was very apparent they had not. However, the restaurant in general was very clean and seemed well taken care of.

I left feeling full, leftovers in hand and my wallet wasn’t much lighter at all.

If you are in the town of New Paltz and on Main Street I would absolutely recommend them for breakfast and...

I went to this store 2 days ago Myself,My Mother and a friend. When we walked in things felt awkward being we were just watched with barely a hello. So we ignored the feeling and Proceeded to have a seat where one of the waitresses placed us. After sitting down she brings back glasses of water & says someone will be with us in a sec.(Still no problem). After waiting for about 10 minutes another gentleman walks into the restaurant and sits down, A waiter immediately runs over to his table and hands him a menu and ask would he like to start with a drink. He sees we have NO menus and then hands them to us with no words and walks away. After about 10 more minutes our waitress finally comes over to the table acting a bit weird. Then asks us may she take our orders. We still ignore the feeling and proceeds to order. She then snatched up the menus and my sister requested a Menu back to order the drinks. At this time the Waitress was a bit Aggie about the situation and flings the menu at me sister and knocks her water all over the table and on my sister. Then goes to get a rag and throws it at my sister to clean the water up.(Yeah I know but it gets better). Then my sister cleans up the water and decides this is enough and that we should just leave at this point. We get up and she comes back and says ā€œOh U guys are leaving?ā€ My sister responds yes we decided not to order and thank you. The waitress then replies ok Bye! So as we’re walking out of the door the male waiter that helped the man as stated in the beginning walks up to me and says excuse me are U guys leaving. I also responded yes and thank you. He said oh ok, Bye! I don’t get the customer service from this place and my sister orders from them 5 days a week from them delivery like door dash or uber(unsure which one). This is so hurtful to have this done to customers that has always supported the business to be treated so awful and disrespectful! Please clean your acts up because it’s no good that we have referred so many ppl that travel to your restaurant and now have to change the...

The food is great and all but the servers are oblivious. We walked in to a line, no problem. The people before us are sat, great. But then we're never asked whether were eating in or taking out and these absent minded servers help the next group to enter the restaurant. And then the next one. All the while, WE'RE STANDING DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THE COUNTER. So I finally say, "can we order our food?" And she helps me as if I haven't been standing there for 15 minutes. We take the food to go because at this point I'm furious and sour and look and behold, SHE GOT THE ORDER WRONG. I asked for their special grilled cheese, the one with like 5 words in the name, and I got a regular grilled cheese. How do you mistake B-side blah blah grilled cheese with just grilled cheese? I wasn't speaking quietly, I was quite frustrated at that point. The other food we ordered was great but the whole experience has left me so sour I won't be going back there. There are more than enough great choices in new paltz with...

I really wish I would have taken pictures of the food. I was up here on a day visit to do some hiking and me and my son stop this town to check this restaurant out. What an amazing throwback place and the people that work here are freaking amazing. The atmosphere in the decor, just takes you back as you look at all the posters in the records on the wall. But let’s talk about the food, from the outside, he would never think you were going to get the quality of food or the quantity from looking at this place, but boy you would be wrong. The food was soooooo damn good I was blown away . Loved the whole vibe about the place , when I visit the hiking trails again I’ll come back to visit.

It's a small place and had a hard time finding in rain (it's in the middle of the block) so I called and the owner stuck his head out to wave so we can find it. It's a casual place with records and record covers hanging all over the place and it was fun to see some oldies from 80s. The service was great - ordered a decaf and he started a fresh pot. Had a real hearty lunch - the sandwich and the burger was right on the spot, as were the fries. I wanted to go little healthy and goe side salad instead of fries for I think a buck upcharge and it was worth it.

Ate here 9/25. Friendly service. Decent prices. Love the grunge decor. I got the Gwar burger, fried pickles ( forgot to get a picture), and cookie dough milkshake. All was pretty good. If I was going to nitpick one thing it would be the bun they used for the burger. It's the type that is used on bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches. Kind of threw me off. Oh well. Not the worst thing ever and it's me being picky. I'm curious about their other burger selections and breakfast options and willing to try this place again
