Would give them 5 stars if they didn't screw up our orders so often. They seem to have a little trouble with special request, like only ketchup on the burger means... only ketchup.
Edit: I've always loved BK. So much so that my kids used to get BK gift cards for my birthday and Christmas. I still think BK has the best burger of fast food restaurants. With that said, the on on Military Rd in Niagara Falls needs a little help. They seem to have had a turnover or loss of management over the past few month. Either that or the GM has decided that customers after 4 pm don't deserve the A team. Now, I will give kudos to Larry. He's got a great personality and is very professional, but he seems to be holding the evening shift together with bubble gum and duct tape.
Today, they were having a hard time fulfilling nearly everyone's orders correctly. And today wasn't even that busy. We've been there before when there were 10 or more cars in the drive-through and didn't have issues other than the long wait. Today, we didn't have the wait until we had to park the car and walk inside to get the hamburger that was missing from our drive-through order. Then, the staff just ignored the people standing at the counter. One woman got so fed up with the lack of attention that she stormed out nearly slaming the door. I'm guessing she didn't get what she ordered either.
Customer service can make or break a restaurant. Great service will bring people back, but bad service will get talked about and shared over and over. Bad word of mouth doesn't help you bring in new customers.
Mistakes are going to happen, but it's how you handle them that determines if you have good customer service. I'd suggest that any time someone has to get out of their car and go inside to have their drive-through order fixed, they should receive a certificate for a free meal deal of their choice. And, stop asking to see receipts if you aren't giving them one to...
Read moreThere was a lot going on here... First, the location is terrible. You literally look out the window at a giant landfill. The sign on the street looks like it took a rocket propelled grenade and then we walked up to the door and the umbrellas on the patio (that looked out on the landfill) were blowing all around the parking lot. Then you walk in to the store and the two main monitors that have the menu are broken and out so you can't see the menu and they don't have any paper copies so you just have to guess unless you've got the menu memorized.
Lady taking the order was great, super friendly and apologetic about the screens being out. We got a few icecreams, but they didn't have chocolate which my son that's on the spectrum was asking for emphatically. At other BKs they let us get chocolate syrup and it solves the issue, figured we would do the same here. We asked to get the ice cream after we finished our meal, they agreed, no problem. However when i tried to get the chocolate syrup, the woman, who i believe was the manager, said no. She said that she couldn't sell it to me. I asked just to clarify that at a restaurant that exists to sell food to people she was refusing to sell me food and she said that "she doesn't make the rules, she just follows them." So her lack of flexibility and dearth of customer service resulted in a 7 year old boy with autism upset. But at least she was able to report back to... Someone ¯(ツ)/¯ that she followed orders and refused to sell us the stupid chocolate syrup.
Beyond that, food was fine. It came out quickly and was tasty and the interior of the restaurant was updated...
Read moreTHIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED TO ME: I was at bk around 820pm on July 30th on military road Niagara falls NY. I was treated TERRIBLE!!! I received the wrong drink he gave me chocolate instead of strawberry after the employee argued with me (the customer) he states well maybe I should just call the cops because your obviously drunk. I have slurred speech because of brain surgery I DO carry a note from the doctor saying so. By this time the manager comes to the window asks to see the document (because obviously the customer is NOT always correct) reads and says "Well we have had issues with drunks coming from the bar." Not one person said sorry not one person tried to rectify the problem. In the end I never received my drink period I also never received a receipt. I have a medical problem so I get zero respect!! I missed the part where bk only hires lawyers as employees because no one should judge except a judge. BK has lost me and anyone I can persuade to no longer eat your food. I will be telling everyone on Facebook or face to face how burger king treats the disabled. Please share this to make millions of people see this...
