Crunch Fitness — Local services in Town of Niagara

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING CRUNCH FITNESS, PLEASE READ THIS!!!! DO. NOT. GO. HERE. OR. SIGN. UP! I used to go to this gym and it really wasn't bad. I stopped going because I didn't have time to go anymore so I called the gym and spoke to someone about cancelling my membership. The guy over the phone was very helpful and canceled my membership and told me it may take up to 60 days for the membership to terminate. 2 months go by, and the money stopped coming out of my account, my membership was terminated. About 3 months after that, I receive a call from Crunch Fitness collections department stating I owed them over $160 because my membership was never cancelled. I told them they cancelled it, and it's been terminated for months now, and they told me the only way to cancel it was to go into the gym where I signed up and cancel it in person. So either the employee working at the gym lied to me, or the collections department seriously needs to reach out and talk to the gym where my membership terminated. I told them I didnt owe them money (because I don't), and they continued to harrass me with phone calls. I threatened to get legal council involved if they didn't stop harrassing me, and the calls stopped for a couple weeks. Now, theres a collections agency calling me and harrasing me telling me I owe Crunch money. I explained my situation to them, and they said the same things the collections dept. said. I refuse to pay them money because I was told my membership was cancelled, they stopped taking money out, and I haven't been to there in almost a year. Please do not sign up with Crunch, you are just a number to them and a payment, that's it. If you are already enrolled at crunch, please speak to the customer service reps at the gym you signed up at and cancel your membership. Because if you move away, or just decide not to go there anymore, that's the only way you can cancel it apparently, and make sure you get a copy of your membership termination in writing and SAVE IT!!! After relocating to the Niagara Falls area from the Deep South and going a couple of years without a gym membership due to constant moves, finding the right gym was a top priority for us. The staff are always friendly, professional, and approachable, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes us excited to show up every day.

New here came with a friend My review is for the cleaner not the whole gym!! I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the incredible work of the cleaning lady at this gym i believe her name is Jamie I’m not sure. The equipment is always wiped down, the floors are consistently clean, and high-traffic areas like the locker rooms and woman’s restrooms are maintained. It’s clear she takes pride in her work, and it really shows. Not only does the gym look and smell fresh while she’s there, but I also feel more comfortable and safe knowing how well it’s being taken care of. Cleaners often working behind the scenes, but their efforts make a huge difference in the overall experience.
