Falls Brewery — Restaurant in Town of Niagara

My husband and I met ny BIL and SIL at the brewery 4/22. Walking in, the vibes are cool and the seats are comfy lots of space. My husband and in laws had already ordered drinks when I entered. The waitress brought out the wrong beer. My husband asked her to bring the correct drink, plus the other drink for my SIL that wasn’t received by then. Cool, waitress brings the drinks and we order food. She comes to bring the first apps, my husband orders another beer. We wait. No beer. Meals come via different server, still no beer. Our waitress comes to check and my husband says “I got a falls brew” (or whatever beer he ordered) the waitress must have thought he was complaining about the original beer that was wrong, so she passive aggressively (yeah she definitely didn’t think I caught that) says something about him trying to keep her on her toes….no, he was asking for the beer he had ordered no less than 10 minutes prior. We eat. Still no beer. He had been drinking beers off his brothers flight the entire meal.! FINALLY she brings the beer. We get the check, she had added the beer they brought that was wrong, along with 2 others and a random flight that he NEVER GOT. He asks for them to be removed, she brings the Manager who proceeds to ARGUE with my husband about the beers he NEVER GOT. All he wanted was to not pay for the beers HE NEVER GOT and was met with passive aggression from the waitress and aggressiveness from the manager. We will not be going back. The food was ok, beer that he actually got to as ok but the service was HORRIBLE. I wasn’t going to mention this but since the manager was so NICE, kinda lame that the wait staff couldn’t keep up with the small crowd then had the nerve to argue with one of the 10 people...

Stopped in a few days after they opened for dinner & to check it out. Great first impression when you walk in. The place looks fantastic! Drink menu is decent for being open a few a few days. The food menu looks great as well. They boast wood fired pizza & WNY local favorites. The service was great when we first got there. After we placed our food order, which we had to flag down a server/bartender to place, service then kind of stopped after we got our food by a food runner. The place wasn’t very busy either when we got there. The food did not impress, unfortunately. We ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich & cheese & pepp pizza. The sandwich we ordered without the lettuce & tomato, add pickles with tots as the side (for an up charge). The sandwich arrived as presented on the menu & not as ordered. Chicken was well cooked but very thick & didn’t cover the bun. We could have cut off a third of the bun. The tots were hot and fresh. The woodfired cheese and pepperoni pizza was not good. There was way too much sauce that overpowered the entire pizza. The cheese didn’t seem like it was a good quality cheese, and the pepperoni was not the locally preferred cup and char. The pizza also was not cut evenly or all the way through. We needed a knife to be able to get one slice off of the pan. We ended up eating two slices and left the rest to be discarded. In summary, this place is fun to hang out with a nice drink menu and a well stocked bar. Would not recommend for food based on the two meals that we ordered. Came early on a Friday night. Sat at the bar. Atmosphere seemed nice and I had high hopes. Bartenders were slow in service & barely checked on you. It wasn't even that busy. Ordered food & hour & half later still nothing. Asked bartender if cook had quit. She replied kitchen was slammed. I pointed out only 3 dinners had come out at the bar & dinner tables in 1.5 hours. One item was a salad. We kept waiting and I was about to walk out because I was so hungry when a runner was walking around the bar asking everyone if this was their order. They didn't seem to have a system in place. It was my order. Burger was plain. Clearly bought & not made. My fries had no salt on it. My fish fry was dark. Looked like dirty oil or overcooked. It had no seasoning or taste. Fish fries are pretty common, fast to cook, everyone makes it. Very disappointing. Bartender asked how it was & for once I was truthful & said awful. She did take it off the bill. Not a good first experience. Definitely won't be back but maybe you'll have better luck. I hope they turn it around and do well but I don't think they'll be...
