ZERO STARS! I repeat ZERO STARS! Zero zero zero! If I could, NEGATIVE 5 on a 5 star rating.
Went to order in person since their website does not actually say what Southern style fried chicken is. Went in, man behind the counter looked up then looked back down.
I moved over to the girl behind the counter. Waited my turn then asked about the Southern style. She whispered âI really donât know.â I figured sheâs new so no biggie, she can ask someone else, right? I asked if I could have all thighs. She said I could, if I am ordering white meat. I corrected her and said itâs all dark meat. She said yes I can have all thighs.
Phone rang. Without saying anything to me, she ran to the phone on the other side of the counter and picked up the phone. No one else acknowledged me. I asked the person next to me if she knew what Southern style was. She was an Uber driver. She has never tried the chicken. (Ugh!). I tried to get the manâs attention, who seems to be the Manager. I was ignored. I raised my voice in a respectful tone. Nothing. I raised my voice louder. Finally he said âitâs spicy.â I had to ask for clarification. They had a sign that says ânew spicy chicken!â (Paraphrased this.) I asked what the difference was. One is spicy and one is really spicy.
I asked if I could mix & match and if I could get all thighs. He said no. The Uber driver asked for me if I could have different styles. I guess my voice is too mild to be heard because he answered her. But he said I couldnât have all thighs. (But the girl earlier said yes, I could have all thighs, if I am choosing dark meat.)
Manager said I can have legs & thighs. I said okay, I would like to order. âNo, you have to order with her.â She is still on the phone. I asked if I ordered online, would it be easier? He said that I should wait for the girl. Sheâs almost done.
So I waited and placed my order. I had to repeat myself 5x without exaggeration. I eventually had to write it down. 8 piece bucket $17.71 (3 originals, 3 Southern & 2 spicy.) I also wrote âmostly thighs please.â
Manager came to me. âNo.â Huh? â I will give you 4 originals (2 thighs, 2 legs) 2 Southern (1 thigh, 1 leg) & 2 spicy, (1 thigh, 1 leg.)
I told him I wanted 3/3/2. He said no. Heâs not going to give me that. If I wanted breast, he can. I told him I only liked thighs but I will take the drumstick but could he accommodate mostly thighs because it is what my family likes. He said I would have to wait and I didnât want to wait. What? I never said I didnât want to wait. I told him I was fine with waiting. I would just like the order the way I ordered, to which the girl said I could.
He said sheâs new. I asked if he could honor it this time since I am a new customer. He asked me if I wanted my money back. I said yes. Clearly. WTH?!?!
He clearly makes too much money as he didnât want to gain a new customer. Must be nice to turn away new business. Oh the life. This place sucks. This place is a ZERO....

Given people old food to eat especially chicken at that. Then when asked for a refund they say no. Never eat or dine here again. At one point the food used to always be good and especially the chicken but never again not no more. I don't know how they've gain 4 stars as recognition. When I got there at 5:30 PM for the pick up, they looked at me with 2 heads saying they don't know what I'm talking about. I showed then the online order through my phone and they said they weren't looking at online orders. So why offer it? Waited approximately an hour for my food (all desserts are store bought). Chicken was very good, the rest was microwaved/reheated trash (ribs were cold, mashed potatoes + collard greens were bad). No compensation, just an apology and an hour wait. Bad service overall.
