Good Taste — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Food bad, service was what you expect, read all if you want my opinion. I moved in a few blocks behind the Rite Aid on post ave last month and decided to try out Westbury's Chinese food. The place I went to was Lin garden and it wasn't that good, so I decided to take the extra walk and go to Good taste. When I arrived the place was like any other Chinese take out but the food was sub par. I found Fried rice on my broccoli when I ordered it with brown rice, making me believe they reuse food. The appetizers I had were dumpling, chicken wing and egg roll, both shrimp and pork. The Dumpling were mush and highly likely not homemade but package bought, the chicken wing was bland and the egg roll weren't bad. All in all I doubt I will spend my money here again. They...

I don't believe I've reviewed this place since it changed over from Bamboo Kitchen. It's fantastic! The restaurant is immaculate, the prices competitive & fair, the staff is friendly & accommodating. One of our party is diabetic & requested additional veggies in lieu of rice on the lunch special. They were provided at no additional cost (unlike her local place, which charged for the change). Found this place a year or so ago & it's my go to place for good Chinese cuisine. This place is incredibly clean and the woman working behind the register is always very welcoming and nice to talk to. I would recommend this place to anyone within say a 5-mile radius, unless you don't have a good spot by you in which case I would say its worth it to come here.
