Cho-Sen Village — Restaurant in Town of North Hempstead

Well.... trying now to find best words l can to explain our experience but... food is fine , nothing special at all. I ordered vegetable dumplings, for some reasons the dough was bright green.. not food friendly color. Also my rainbow roll tasted ok, but size for one piece is too big to put in your mouth at one time, so u have to use a knife.

Got ready disgusted by “white” scratch marks - overused plates. Really?! That’s how you treat your customers? With OLD plates?! Please please buy new ones! At least from Dollar tree store.Spend some money on your quality & business . Better cheap plates but NEW, Clean, without black scratch marks, than old ones that maybe were expensive in last century. Cups we had on our table were almost clean but with extremely bad smell.

One of our party was on a special diet so nothing she could it from menu. She brought her own diet tea bag and got checked with attitude for that tea. We didn’t like that!

Also was really surprised that you are not allowed to use wifi in their place, no one will give you the password. 😳🤯How is that?! Have no words! Never seen something like that.

Service was so so... could be better. You see that ppl who work aren’t happy there. No one smiled to us. We were waiting for a long time to catch our waitress all entire evening.

Don’t RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Not at all! Waisted time, money 💰. For the same price there are way better asian cuisine places in Great Neck with new interior, wifi, new dishes, clean modern bathrooms.

I usually don't leave bad reviews for businesses, but people need to know what type of establishment this is. This place is beyond filthy. Every glass cup the waiters brought out were visibly dirty. The cleaniless in this place is horrific. The customer service was practically non existent. At one point one of the staff members locked the bathroom door preventing our kids from using it and the staff was playing stupid when we asked them to open it. I don't understand how this establishment is operating when they are extremely dirty. Every piece of flatware, cup or plate that they brought us from the kitchen was dirty. We at one point ended up piling all these dirty stuff at one end of the table. We would've left if we weren't celebrating a bday with 20 other people. Department of healthy really needs to pay this...

Was sat at a table with my wife. After almost 10 minutes, we asked for water… he made a face at us. Another 10 minutes passed and he still did not bring any. As the waiter passed by again for about the 4th time, I told him we were ready to order at which point he raised his voice at me. I am never one to complain about service and understand that it is a demanding job, but there is no excuse for yelling at a customer- especially when he uses kind language and tone with you. Needless to say, we got up and walked out immediately. The hostess stopped us at the front and asked why we were leaving to which my wife responded with “your waiter raised his voice at us when we told him we were ready to order”. The hostess apologized and...
