On June 8, Village Green Park came alive with a vibrant community festival that brought together people of all ages. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with the park filled with the sounds of laughter, music, and conversation. It truly felt like the heart of the community was beating right here. ⸻ Food Vendors One of the highlights of the day was the incredible variety of food vendors. From Greek gyros to Arabic shawarma, from Italian pasta to other delicious street foods, the flavors from around the world were all under one roof — or rather, under the open summer sky. The smells alone could draw you in from blocks away, and everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. ⸻ Rides & Entertainment for Children The kids’ area was a huge hit. There were rides that kept the little ones busy and smiling for hours — from classic carnival rides to fun inflatables. The excitement on their faces was proof enough that this part of the festival was a winner. Families could relax knowing their children were having a great time in a safe, festive environment. ⸻ Overall Experience Village Green Park is already a lovely spot for a walk or a picnic, but on festival day it transforms into something special. The combination of diverse food, family-friendly rides, and a lively community vibe made June 8 an unforgettable day. It’s events like these that make me appreciate having this park in our community.

Well-laid out neighborhood park in Great Neck area. Most prominent feature of the park is its rose garden architected by known landscape designer Beatrix Farrand. Plenty of parking on mid-summer weekend.

This park is nice and all but overall it sucks,Because you can not do most of the things you would do in a regular park.Such as bicycle riding,skateboarding,scooter riding and rollerskating.You are also not allowed to ball play since there are "KIDS AROUND"which most of them play in the playground.The staff can be very rude depending who you talk to.That is my review for village green park in great...
