I recently had the pleasure of dining at Di Maggio's Trattoria right here in our wonderful town of Port Washington, NY, and I can confidently say that it exceeded all of my expectations. As a proud resident, I was thrilled to discover such an exceptional restaurant in our own backyard, and the owners, Angelo and Eddy, made sure to make it an unforgettable experience.

Angelo and Eddy truly went above and beyond when they helped us organize a wildly successful surprise party for my mom. They not only provided incredible food and amazing service, but Eddy's exceptional communication and flexibility in the weeks leading up to the event played a significant role in its success. He worked closely with us to customize the menu, ensuring that every detail was tailored to our preferences. It was a true testament to their dedication and passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

The food prepared by Di Maggio's was nothing short of incredible. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavors and made with the freshest ingredients. We just had our son's communion party here and Dimaggios was perfection!! The food was mind blowing! The hot and cold antipasti kept coming - burrata, roasted peppers, olives, tomato & basil, artichokes with bread crumbs, fried calamari and marinara, garlic bread- each dish was so delicious!! Then came the salad course, followed by an impressive selection of entrees and it was topped off with our cake and a choice of tea, espresso and coffee!! We even had limoncello! What a way to finish!! I also had guests with gluten free and dairy free requests and they were served wonderful options as well!! Everyone I spoke to raved that this was the best Italian restaurant they've ever been to!! And the atmosphere could not be beat!! We had the entire back room to ourselves and we felt as though we were transported to Italy! It was so authentic! Eddy was so helpful during the planning process and he knew just how to set up the room to compliment our decorations for the occasion! He even put together a beautiful personalized menu for our guests to make their selections! It added just the right touch! The service staff also went above and beyond and were so attentive and friendly!! It made for such a memorable experience!! I can't thank them all enough!! Our son said that "this was the best time of his life and that this is his favorite restaurant." I can wholeheartedly say that we agree!! We can't wait to plan our next event here! I know we will be having my other son's communion here without a doubt! But we are already trying to figure out the next time we can go out to dinner here because we know that the food will always be phenomenal!! Thanks again for such a wonderful time!! The wait staff were attentive, food was good. Google has the amount of dollar signs wrong it should be 3 $$$.

They have items not listed on the laminated 1 page menu you are presented so if you want something dont be afraid to ask. My girlfriend ordered a dish not on the menu, salmon, it came with small pieces of avocado, asparagus, grape tomatoes, a couple balls of fresh mozzarella; it looked nice, and she enjoyed it, was $32 and came with a small dish of pasta, she asked for capellini so they upcharged $1 (why I dont know) so now it was $33. I ordered the veal marsala from the laminated menu, reading the menu it seemed like it came with pasta and a choice of vegetable or salad, but according to the waitress it was a choice of 1 of the 3 so I opted for the spaghetti. The Veal was good, fairly tender, but the chef must have a thing for onions and put quite a few in the marsala, I for one dont care for them; otherwise it tasted good, there was no mozzarella or prosciutto but a good amount of your standard grocery store mushrooms, the amount of Veal was about average. The accompanying spaghetti portion was tiny but tasty. Overall the service was very good, the host friendly, food good but they should either give you the salad & the pasta or increase the amount of pasta, it's the first time in a long time I've left an Itallian Restaurant hungry..
