I’ll start off by saying this is a nice looking place to have a beer. Unfortunately, they don’t have any good beer. None of the taps are their own beer. None of the guest taps were good beer. The bus boy or waiter or whatever this teenager is called, was basically sitting on my lap the whole time. I bought a flight of 4 less than average beers (none brewed by the brewery) and this kid reached over me to grab the empty flight glass each time. One time he grabbed the almost empty glass and then asked if we were done, which we were not. He got his grubby paws all over the glass and his millennial sleeves all over the other glasses. Oh did I mention we asked to sit at a table and they said no and sat us at an empty beer barrel. That about all I have to say. Maybe if they brew some of their own beers, I’ll come back and try them out. Until then, keep it moving

Since I rarely leave reviews unless I have a great or not so great experience, I don’t know how to respond to you, John, so here’s an edit.

I completely understand that you’re a small upstart brewery and may have ran out of your own brews. However, you should have a current, up to date tap list somewhere on your website or untapped or anywhere so I know what’s on the menu beforehand. You have a great spot and a very good atmosphere. The live music today was outstanding. I was just completely taken aback at all the guest taps. None of them were good. I was really looking forward to trying your beers. By the way, charging me 3$ for a sticker is quite outrageous too. 1$, maybe 2$ at most should suffice, even though, you should really be giving them out to your new customers to help spread the word. The main reason for my review was this kid that hovered over my friends and I like a hawk. He couldn’t wait for us to finish our beers before basically snatching the glasses out of our hands. I did not appreciate him reaching over me and grabbing glasses and then having beer and condensation drip all over my leg. When I’m finished drinking my beer, I’ll return the flight and glasses myself, thank you. I don’t need some underage kid, with his mask halfway on his face and his sleeves dragging across the flight glasses in front of me. He should not be grabbing glasses that aren’t empty. I don’t know where his hands have been. The more I think about it, the more disgusted I...

I have lived in the Mineola area practically my entire life and pride myself on knowing virtually every brewery within 10 miles of my house. I was delighted to learn this week about the Lost Farmer Brewing Company, less than three miles from where I live. After a great meal at Biscuits and Barbecue, my friend and I walked about 2 minutes to the brewery. At night the walk along 2nd Street is a little bit on the dark and sketchy side-hopefully the Village of Mineola will invest in better lighting in that area. Surrounding the brewery are lots of industrial buildings. You don't actually believe that a brewery exists until you see the large Lost Farmer Brewing Sign pointing you deep into an alleyway. Once you arrive at the brewery, the place is quite impressive with a very cool vibe. They have plenty of outdoor seating. Inside is plenty of bar space and Spanish Tapas Bar-Style barrels as tables. The selection beers actually made by the company is pretty extensive. There are at least 12 different styles on tap. Almost every beer is made by the company. I tried the Sicario Stout which was an excellent take on the chocolate imperial stout- similar to a Brooklyn Chocolate Stout. I also tried the Mahogany Pale Ale, which was a unique fusion of a red ale and a pale ale. It wasn't as heavy on the palate as an IPA, which made it unique and easy to drink. They do offer a small food menu- pretzels, pizza and focaccia bread which pair very well with their beers. I am wondering what this place would be like on a summer afternoon. Hopefully, they have enough outdoor space to have Cornhole or CanJam to attract families to their great establishment. Hopefully Biscuits and Barbecue and the Lost Farmer Brewing Company will spearhead further development in the southeast corner of Mineola. I will definitely visit again to see what the vibe is like...

Absolutely disappointing experience! We’ve been regulars here for four years, and the staff, especially Liam and Matt, has always been wonderful to us. However, the atmosphere has changed, and the new crowd has made it unbearable.

During a recent visit, I had an unsettling encounter with guests from a private 30th birthday party. While waiting in line for the restroom, I was cornered and questioned about the authenticity of my belongings. One individual even threatened to take my items and ‘gift’ them to his wife. Afterward, other members of the party approached with insincere apologies, which only added to the discomfort.

It’s deeply upsetting that my boyfriend’s success, as a person of color, seems to trigger such negative reactions. We had previously felt at home here, but this incident left us feeling unwelcome and unsafe. We hope the management addresses this to ensure a welcoming environment...

Very much a hidden gem. The place is cozy with a warm atmosphere and very cool. There are the big beer tanks visible right in the space. There are so many interesting beer and drink choices and a small menu with a few items like a bar pizza and empanadas. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is a tent out back with heaters, tables and benches for extra space. The parking is tight but spots available. Cute hangout and definitely great if you're into beer! 🍺 😉 😊

The team, atmosphere and booze is all 5 stars. What a fun time with the LF crew! A nice offset brewery in Mineola that offers retro frillz, fancy beer, bad a$$ merch and some swanky food truck empanada's. Go for the juicy ipa's Stay for the Hall and Oats *local tip, buy the sweatshirt, it's super soft, I wear it everyday lol. Oh, and I was the first person to buy a 2021 keeper glass and matching tap handle. Good luck Lost Farmer squad.

Hidden local brewery, that if people knew what was in here, it would be so much more popular. My friend and I rambled in Friday night, live music, cozy vibe, smell of popcorn when walking in. My friend had the mango seltzer and I had the stable shaker (yes men collab). Both were delicious and I think I might stop by yesmen for a shirt in new Hyde Park. 5/5 check it out for yourself. Don't overindulge, do not drink and drive
