Sending a five-star review for Quiero Tacos. I have ordered takeout from this relatively new restaurant three times now, and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, tasty, and the service both courteous and professional. Additionally, Quiero Tacos is supportive of those who are financially disadvantaged. There is a sign in there door, stating that anyone who is hungry - and does not have money - will be given food at no cost. This is a 180-degree difference from the powers that be at chain establishments that are only concerned with filling the pockets. Side note: SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! Thank you, Quiero Tacos. Consider me a regular patron. Follow-up: Having stuck to strictly ordering burritos from Quiero Tacos, tonight I ordered a steak quesadilla. Wow! If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine served with heart, look no further than this incredible spot. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality that made me feel like part of the family.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was a vibrant celebration of traditional flavors — from the perfectly seasoned carne asada tacos to the delicious and fresh fish tacos. The guacamole was freshly made, the tortillas were soft and clearly handmade, and every bite was a testament to the care put into the kitchen.

What truly sets this place apart, though, is the owner. Not only was he welcoming and attentive, but you could tell how passionate he is about both the food and the experience. My husband and I just moved to Mineola, Long Island from Tucson, Arizona and we were hoping to find some authentic Mexican food. Thankfully we found it two blocks away from our apartment at Quiero Tacos!!! Today I ordered their lunch special -- two fish tacos with rice and beans as well as a small salad -- all for only $12! The tacos were some of the best I have ever had. The ingredients were fresh and the seasoning was so flavorful. My husband ordered their three taco entree for only $16. He picked one shrimp taco, one fish taco, and one chorizo taco for variety. He absolutely loved them including their fresh homemade salsas!
