The worst experience ever !! I was just there eating with my family and kids I’m 100% Colombian so this place is deff home to me.. and my husband is Filipino. And my kids are deff mix. So we having dinner like everyone else in there and the tv was on with music people talking . Waitress were singing happy birthday and it was like any other restaurant. Once we were close to finishing out dinner the manager comes to us and told us to let my son lower the volume on the phone because other people wanted to enjoy the dinner too. Like i said this was close to us finishing our dinner The manager then hold my husband back and when we asked who was complaining we see 2 white people. Man and female in the corner about to leave and walking past us saying good bye to the owner by his first name. Clearly those 2 white people were the ones complaint about my sons phone been loud while he was eating because that’s the way he eats (mind you he’s only 3) so my husband got very upset because we were discriminated against... this was and would not be ok since we are minority... since we are not white people with “money” or status... so this would be the last time I’m visiting this place... never again such a shame this place runs on white...

I love their food but the service is a zero I'm a big costumer of theirs and I at least order once a week I was planning on giving them more business for my kids christening but the way I was treated today is unreal. I order my food to be delivered at 6:30 pm thinking it may take time to be delivered they told they were busy and it will get here in about 1 hour and a half two hours later I call and the receptionists tell me he will be there any minute now. One hour later nothing called at this point is almost 9:40 pm and they tell me I never answer my phone calls and nobody came to the door it was a lie I asked them to read back the phone on file and of course the number was wrong I doubt anybody showed up on my door either as they stated. Completely unacceptable bunch of clowns when asked to speak to a manager they tell me nobody is running the restaurant and the person in charge will be back in two months. Trust me I'll make sure their clientele goes down all my friends buy from them I'll make sure they...

Visited for the first time on Labor Day after our first and second choices for lunch were closed for the day and Pollos El Paisa should have been our first choice! Outside it looks like an old dinner turned to what it is today - nothing special until you walk in and are greeted by friendly host, owner, and staff. And the food…loaded overflowing delicious food piled onto plates that make everyone happy even the friends/family at home because you will be bringing the uneaten left overs home! We ordered the paella for 2 with half a roast chicken and platanos on the side - this could have been for 4 or 5! Seasoning was right on and not too salty on everything. Roast chicken was falling off the bone. The platanos were sweat, soft, and tangy. The mango slush hit the spot. A great spot with yummy Columbian food loaded onto your plate all served with a smile. Plus the restrooms were very clean! This will be many a first choice when we are in the area...

(Sharing Fee?)The food is actually pretty good and went here with my family time to time. Was just a little mad for being charged for the 1st time with a “Sharing Fee” Because me and my girlfriend shared a meal. It honestly did not make sense to me as I spent over $50 plus tip and now I got an extra charge for sharing a meal with a loved one. In my personal opinion I’m not getting any extra food or services, so why am I being charged extra? On top of that I was never told about the sharing fee even though our waiter definitely overheard my girlfriend, asking me to share with her. I also did not like how the waiter talked to my dad or handled the situation. It wasn’t that deep but again it got me and my family a little tight. I still feel like everyone should try this restaurant out tho, just be aware they will charge you for sharing food. Me and my family did like going to this place but the experience has lead us to look for another place to eat on the weekends.

Its overrated, they should concentrate in the taste of the food rather than the amount they serve. We came here after a pumpkin picking trip to the area and saw a rating of almost 5stars, so I drag my mother and nephews with me,their kids food its frozen and not made fresh(chicken fingers and fries) their Paella its quite different and it has half a roasted chicken on top(???) my mother wanted to get this dish because we got tricked by our eyes, let me tell you it has no defined taste and its not worth its almost $30 they ask for it, their typical Colombian dishes (badeja paisa) had a very tough stake.. etc ... I guess people come here like I said before because they get mountains of food with no taste. If you like Colombian food go to pollos Marios in woodhaven blvd queens, only that location because the rest are not that good!
