I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this restaurant tonight. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, I approached a waitress (a woman with long black hair) behind the bar to order a drink, only to be told, "I’m doing something." The lack of professionalism was astounding, and I can’t help but blame this on poor management. I sincerely hope she wasn’t the owner.

As someone who lives in Mineola and serves the community, I expect a basic level of respect and professionalism when dining out. It's when you start treating customers poorly that a business begins to unravel. This establishment certainly doesn’t deserve any stars, let alone one. The place was busy, but that’s no excuse for being rude and unprofessional. It's not my problem only two people were working with 20 to 30 people dining. If you know Wednesday's a busy night why only have two people working? Terrible.

When a male bartender finally approached after 15 minutes, I explained what happened, only for him to dismissively say, "Can’t you see we’re busy? She already told you she was doing something with a nasty attitude." After some back-and-forth about basic customer service, he rudely asked, "Do you want a drink or not?"

Yes, I did want a drink and food, but certainly not under these circumstances. A simple acknowledgment of the wait and a polite explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was met with sarcasm and a total lack of respect.

Save your money and go somewhere that values their customers. This place...

I have been a customer of this bar for only the past year myself but my boyfriend had been a loyal customer who frequented this bar often. Regardless of the dirty tap lines, we all had previously enjoyed ourselves here. However we, and 8 other people, spent our new years here. As midnight came and passed we celebrated by sharing two beers we personally brought with our exclusive group. This act might have been distasteful but the owners reaction was even more so. Instead of having a member of his staff approach us and ask us to get rid of the beer, not to do this ever again, and giving us a chance to apologize, he attacked the post (on an app called untapped). He aggressively attacked these posts, from his professional @black sheep ale house account and stated that we had "untapped ourselves right out of his bar". We apologized to the bar tenders and attempted to reach out to Vince through facebook only to find that he had also blocked my boyfriend on that network of social media, eliminating any chance at attempting to mend this situation. I would expect this kind of passive aggressive and sarcastic attitude from a high school girl not a full grown man with a professional persona to uphold.. I am severely disappointed in the ways that this situation was handled and can honestly say I, and many others who witnessed these events as well as people who had found out after the fact, will no longer be making the trip to this establishment nor will we provide...

Wow1 Went there for a local fundraising event. The amount of beers available was unbelievable! Tried many! I'm going back. Drank more beer than I ever did and wasn't even bloated or drunk. Nice buzz---good stuff! Delirium and Purple haze. LOL Oh and continuous tunes-nice variety!A diamond in the rough. This place is an awesome spot for a laid back drink. They have an excellent selection of beer and a great staff that is very friendly and informative when it comes to picking out what beer you want to drink. I only came here for drinks on a sunday night so I could not tell you much about the food or the crowd. It seemed to me like most people that I was sharing the bar with were locals from the area but they were friendly and easy to have a conversation with. Beware of parking in the area. If you can park behind the bar along the guard rail. During the weekend you may park anywhere in the parking lot but if you come here during the week do not park by the houses in the lot as those spots are reserved for the law office that shares the lot. The bathrooms are really cool in this bar, they are painted with chalkboard material and you can write all over the walls if you wish. i would recommend this place if you are looking for a bar that doesn't have that typical long...

Hands down one of the best craft beer bars I have ever been to in USA. Was very surprised when every draft beer I tried was not only good but great. Then I found out from one of the regular patrons that the owner carefully selects each craft beer featured at his bar to make sure its the best of the best and not just another beer. That alone should be enough reason to go there and try one of their beers. Seriously, if you are in the area and u love craft beers, this place is a MUST TRY!!

La oveja negra has been a staple in my life for the past 10 years. It doesn't get much better than this if you're a fan of high quality brews, they also have board games, a wide selection of wines, spirits and every craft beer under the sun in a rotating basis plus they're open until 4am every single day. If you're in the area this place is an absolute must.
