UPDATE: I decided to give this place another chance back in March. Service & food quality have improved and employees are very friendly. This is why I had to write my previous honest experience in hopes the proper changes would be made & they have.
What happened to this location? It used to be very good, but I experienced the worst service I ever had at a Wendy's last night. I didn't have to wait on line too long (about 5 min) to place my order but then I wound up waiting 15 minutes just to get my food. I had to ask where my order was and it was finally ready, but when I went to sit down, I realized they got my order wrong, even after showing it to the cashier 2 times. I ordered a #1, single burger, no mayo/no cheese, baked potato with butter on the side, and a small drink. But when I went to get my stuff out of the bag (yes, they don't even have trays!), I saw a small chicken sandwich instead, so I had to go back while the cashier girl argues with the food prep about my order and wait another 5 minutes. I finally sit down over 20 minutes after I walk in, see my burger was sloppily put together without a care or much lettuce or onion, but I wasn't going to go back again as at this point I was more pressed for time as I had to be in a meeting in less than an hour. The burger wasn't well done at all and very greasy. Then I went for the potato, and saw they gave me sour cream instead of butter, so yup, I had to go back again! Meanwhile other customers sitting nearby were also experiencing problems with the service. In addition to all of this, one of the two drink machines was out of service and there was no soap in the restroom. This Wendy's needs major changes in management, what a complete failure of an experience. Everything from the service, to the food, to the atmosphere, very subpar. Won't be back at this location. Read moreWalked into the store manager kicked me out right away for no reason. Worst service ever only one employee was working. The other workers and the manager where making jokes together. Absolutely ridiculous, also everytime we ask why we are getting kicked out he does not give a reason. Also EVERY single time i go there and order they forget my sauce. Can never get your order right always have to double check. Alot of workers can be rude and they look like they can careless about their customers or making your food. Everytime I go through the drive through i am told to backup so that it looks like they get my order done quickly when they really don’t (There is a camera that times your order and backing up resets it) Never coming back. You should not come here either. Food sucks and kitchen is dirty. When you call them they never pick up the phone. Used to be such a great place that was clean and had good food until they hired a new manager and workers. They pay way to much attention to the drive through not the actual people inside of the store. I know its fast food but slow down and get the order correct. Last time I was there I waited on a empty line for 30 minutes because the workers were either at the drive through or making jokes together. What has happend to this place, McDonald’s is so much better than this place. Slowest wendys I’ve ever been to. I asked for 15 piece nugget and I got a 50 piece they dont care. Any future visits to Wendy's on Hillside Williston, we will either go through the drive thru. Or, patronize Wendy's in Bayside on Northern Blvd., at least it's clean. Wendy's does a good job serving up tasty burgers and salads. But, no one wants to sit in a filthy restaurant. This Wendy's on Williston, is slipping in decor, customer relations & food quality. Both drink machines ran out of ice when we arrived. Some drinks were actually warm...ugh!! Upon leaving, no one had refilled the ice machine.The fries looked wilted and, tasted worse. Drinks came out of machine luke warm. The mgr poured new drink from drive thru window, and he provided ice. It's appreciated. But, Wendy's still has problems, even with a visible full staff in the kitchen area. The floor section viewed by the public, was filthy. In Wendy's defense, the restaurant, doesn't always look thiweres way. So, why hadn't anyone come out to sweep the dinlg room. The floor was full of garbage and spilled drinks.
