Pontillo's Pizzeria — Restaurant in Town of Ogden

This place needs MAJOR improvements! I only order here because it is so close and convenient for me, but if your a person who likes to have sauce on your pizza, then this is not the place to come. Theres NONE what-so-ever. I will say though that last time i ordered a chicken Wing pizza it was DRIPPING in sauce and had to pat the whole thing down with paper towel, which brings me to their next problem which is their inconsistency. :/ When I order a steak sub I have say green peppers and they give me banana peppers which are obviously yellow. I also expect hot subs to be toasted-not limp and DRENCHED in grease! asked for hot sauce, none one there...this happens evertime i order one, and I specifically talk slow, loud and practically spell things out for them so that they DON"T get it wrong!! The guy rushed me off the phone said it would be done in 10 mins..i get there in 10, its already done and all the 5 or 6 employees that are in there are sitting doing nothing, and watching TV....

Not only do I work there and actually see how the food is made and how chill the atmosphere is there. My children and I have been ordering a sheet pizza and 50 wings every single Friday for the longest time. Until we ate at Pontillos, we were ordering from all different places because we couldn’t really find the right place. This Pontillos actually has some of the best pizza and wings that we’ve had. My son and I went in for dinner tonight, when we arrived there wasn't anyone at the counter, then a young kid came in and yelled a girls name, she came to the front and we ordered a small 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni pizza. She was very nice. Took only about 10 min. Fast. We were hungry.. got the pizza and started eating, had a burnt bottom and it was gross. I asked for some blue cheese to help cover the taste, (again we were very hungry) took 4 bites..my son was like OMG mom this isnt like ours near home. It's burnt.
