Avoid this venue at all costs. Seriously, you would be better off taking your money and placing it the broiler on high. Service is NON EXISTENT and, when we called to speak with an owner, we were disconnected three times. Absolutely absurd. And if you decide to eat outside on a beautiful summer night, prepare to go home and completely delouse. Seriously, the bugs were that bad and management just didn't care. When you enter the outdoor seating they have bottles of Cutter for you to put toxic chemicals on your largest organ, your skin, in an effort to allow you to sit outside. Never mind the fact that flys, gnats and all the other flying insects also settle in whatever food or drink you order. Let me guess, you'd like us to spray that on our order as well to complete the toxicity?

If there was a way to rate a zero, believe me, I would. I am not someone who gives a rating that is negative without cause. We were seated for half an hour before anyone came to the table and were told that it was not their table, but as we were complaining ..are you serious? Twice, before our server came to us we were told, "we are very busy tonight". Sorry for that, but something that should never be told to a patron...

You would be better off getting a frozen White Castle in ShopRite then wasting your time, money, and patience at this supposed restaurant. Seriously, they should overhaul the entire staff. Absolutely abysmal

The food was adequate. Calamari is not homemade, according to my experience and pallette. If you like heavy oil and pre breaded, go ahead. The Blue Points were good...

We could not finish our dinner as outdoor dining was impossible. There were gnats, mosquitoes and various other flying insects that prevented us from finishing our meals.y spouse had to go to the car with the promise I would bring her unfinished meal to the car. Of course, she cannot eat it as their are bigs all over it...same with mine. And when I said to the manager at the desk you need to stop serving out here, 9 was told we can't do that, as she seated another table of four. Just as a point of reference, there are two dining areas- one overlooking the water and one on the water. If there is an insect issue heres a thought...stop serving OUTDOORS and direct people to the indoor section of the facility. It is not all about making all the cash you can as it is having clients who believe that the facility has your best interest at heart. That is definitely not what we saw here, as well as seven other tables that were seated around us.

It's understandable that managements can't control the elements, but to have the mater d say there's nothing she can do? This will be the last time I spend any money in this location. Do yourself a favor and avoid...

I wrote the below in an email to the party coordinator the day after our party. We called 3 days before the party to let them know to set up for 28 people, as stated and requested on the contract (initially 40 but due to COVID many RSVP’d that they wouldn’t make it). I gave them one week to respond to the email but unfortunately they didn’t so I have no choice but to warn others. When it came time to pay the bill they said “because the contract was for 40 they would not change to 28” even though they were notified and THEY set up for 28 people as requested. I asked the gentleman to speak with the owner or the coordinator but neither were there so he called them but they would NOT get on the phone with me and he came back and said “they say the contract is 40” so I was forced to pay for 12 people that didn’t show up to my wife’s baby shower. Taking money out of the pocket of a growing family is clearly how they do business which lost them a 120+ party this upcoming summer for our wedding anniversary. I asked them for a gift card or to take home 12 dinners if they didn’t want do the right thing (since I was paying anyway), which they also wouldn’t do.

So as stated the email below is what was sent and received no response

I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

Hi Donna,

I wanted to touch base in regards to the party. Everything was good and the staff was good (could’ve been friendlier and more attentive. I needed to go to the other room to get them a few times). We set the room up for 28 people and we’re charged for 40. The gentleman I spoke to said he spoke with you and the owner and neither were willing to make the change. While I understand there was a contact for 40 people it was clear 40 people were not going as the room was set up for 28. I asked for a gift card for the difference or the dinners as we have eaten there probably two dozen times and the money would’ve went to use and we were planning on renting the bigger room for our wedding anniversary this upcoming summer (which I explained to the gentleman I spoke with). As we had paid for the dinners we could’ve taken the missing guests dinners home at least. As I’m sure you can imagine due to the issue stated above we would not be booking that party or returning for any future visits. To me this is more about principal of customer service then the additional...

This place came highly recommended from a friend but we were disappointed. When my wife walked in she told the maitre d that it was her mother's birthday and we'd like some sort of cake candle excetera recognition at the end of the meal. When I sat down next to my wife at the table she whispered in my ear that everything was taken care of.

The bus boy came around very quickly and brought us warm delicious bread and cold water. As I was enjoying this bread saying this is some of the best bread I've had, to my wife and her mom I was expecting to be very impressed by the meal. We waited a solid half hour and I even tried to stop a few waitresses, trying to order our dinner. Finally 35 minutes later a waitress took our order.

We had ordered one virgin pina colada for my mother-in-law. As well as appetizers and our main course. Another 20 minutes past and I asked the busboy to remind the waitress that we have a drink order waiting. She delivered it and then she had an attitude for the rest of the night with us.

I ordered the seafood combo expecting a fresh delicious meal. The combo I ordered had calamari. I usually always ask the waitress if the come out calamari is fresh or frozen. I didn't ask this time and it was a mistake. The calamari was very chewy and usually fresh calamari dress melt-in-your-mouth. I was just appointed. The end of the meal we ordered appetizers and we expected a candle in my mother's Dish as my wife had arranged with the maitre d before we sat down.

Nothing happened when the desert came out. No candle or anything. I got up and went to the maitre d and mentioned to her that my wife let you know before the start of our meal that it was my mother-in-law's birthday and we like a candle in the desert. She didn't look up from what she was doing, she said, "oh that's too bad, I'm sorry" she said insincerely. I said I was sorry too.

As we're waiting for the check the waitress came around and said, "wait don't go anywhere" and then they came out with a dessert with a candle and a few of the waitresses and waiters came by our table to sing "Happy Birthday" to my mom. I was expecting a really good meal and some of the food was pretty good but just the atmosphere from the waitress made us really not feel comfortable about being there. I'm not sure if I'll...

My recent lunch experience at Cornetta's Restaurant & Marina in Piermont, NY, was nothing short of spectacular. This charming spot is not just a restaurant; it's a delightful escape that combines great food with picturesque surroundings. The star of my meal was undoubtedly the lobster roll. Calling it the best I've ever eaten would be an understatement. Packed with fresh, succulent lobster meat and dressed just right, it was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Every bite was a reminder of the restaurant's commitment to quality and freshness. But the experience at Cornetta's goes beyond just great food. The setting by the marina adds a serene, almost idyllic quality to the meal. Watching boats gently sway in the water as I dined was incredibly relaxing. What made the visit even more special was the opportunity to explore the historic region of Piermont after our meal. A walk nearby was a fantastic way to digest and soak in the beauty and history of the area. It felt like we were stepping through pages of history, making the entire experience educational as well as enjoyable. I highly recommend Cornetta's Restaurant & Marina for anyone looking for exceptional seafood, especially their lobster roll, coupled with a unique and scenic dining experience. It’s an ideal spot for both locals and visitors seeking a taste of Piermont’s culinary delights and its rich history. 🦞🚤🌊
