On August 3rd, I had ordered (online) 7 pies at 4:05 PM for a 7:15 PM delivery for my child’s birthday party. I had called the location at 7:30 to inquire about my delivery due to the fact that it had not arrived. I was informed that they were extremely busy and my order had already left the store for delivery. At 7:45, I called again because I still did not get my delivery. At this time, they said it is leaving the store now & will get there in 10 minutes. At this point with the delivery going to be 40 minutes late, I requested to speak with the manager. A person named “Chow” got on the phone claiming to be the manager. When I mentioned my disappointment about not receiving my delivery at the time it was supposed to be delivered, he got very rude, talking down to me in a condescending way, accusing me of being wrong & insisting that my order wasn’t late. He stated that my order, that I ordered at 4:05 does not get prepared until 7:15. When I tried to explain to him that the email receipt I received indicated specifically 7:15 delivery time, he insisted I was wrong. When I offered to provide it to him by forwarding the email tracker, he hung up on me. At 8:00 PM my pies finally arrived (45 minutes late) the delivery driver right away apologized for it being late & further stated that they were short a few drivers which caused the delay.
The following day I had called the Dominoes corporate center. They assured me that I was correct about the proper delivery time & apologized. They further mentioned that this location was an independent franchise & that someone from their company would call me back. The following day I received a call from a person named “Chow”, who stated he was the manager & was following up on a complaint. When I mentioned to him that I spoke to him two days prior about the issue, he claimed he never spoke to me & has no recollection of the issue. He further stated that he was working the night in question & said that one of his employees must have claimed to be him & that’s whom I must have spoken to. He told me he was going to retrain his employees & it won’t happen again. He never apologized nor did he acknowledge or address anything about the initial complaint.
Since I was not satisfied on how this was handled, I called corporate again. I informed them about the follow up conversation, mentioned I wasn’t satisfied on how it was handled. The representative was surprised because he had in his notes that the location settled the issue & that they gave me a significant discount. When I informed them that was not true, they stated that they were going to reach out to the company again & have someone other than the store manager contact me to rectify the situation. Over a month later & I still haven’t heard back from anyone. I also made another call to corporate to inform them of this & they insisted they will make sure it’s taken care of. As of today (9/18)...

One evening my husband couldn’t go pick up our order and I had to go with our daughter, who was maybe 6 months old and was not walking yet. I didn’t have her stroller and I didn’t know how much we had ordered, so when I came in with her in the car seat carrier I wasn’t able to easily carry everything out. The young man working jumped right out and brought everything to my car for me without me asking and even insisting I was fine (I wasnt lol) I was just going to make two trips which isn’t a big deal to me but I didn’t have to because of the thoughtful young man that night. I was so frazzled from running out with the baby then first trying to juggle everything that I forgot to take his name to tell his manager how kind he was so I’m going to have to go in again and see him in person because I will definitely recognize him. But anyway that’s the level of service that we have always gotten here. The workers have always been friendly and helpful and this young man in particular just went above and beyond. I haven’t had a problem with a single order yet (which is especially rare these days - I am not putting down the workers at other places, I understand that wages are absolute cr@p and they are understaffed and overworked in almost every establishment) and the one time I got home missing something it was because I forgot it and they had even tried to call me to let me know before I got too far away. Read morethis was such a strange experience…me and my friend went in to order a pizza, and the garlic twists with the cheesy marinara dip. when we walked in, it was really loud. like a fan or something. and when we went up to order, the guy behind the counter couldn’t understand us and had to come around and look at the menu. eventually he got who i assume was the manager who also didn’t understand us. Eventually we got our order done and we were told the price. the thing is, we couldn’t hear a single thing the guy was saying throughout the interaction. So we got our money out, for some reason, the worker opened up the cash register, and handed me a dime. no idea why, i didn’t even give him the money yet. So i just held the dime as we gave him the money. At first i thought he said our food was 15 $, and after 5 times of asking, he told us it was actually 29$. we were short a few dollars so he just took what we had . he said something but again, I couldn’t understand him. but the real kicker id after taking our money, which wasn’t even enough for the food. he goes into the register and gives me 3 penny’s. I’m being so serious, this was just such a bizarre experience. the food was so bomb though, it was busting fr….so like, i would definitely order again, just online next time. thanks for the 13...
