This is feedback for management: We stopped by on a busy Friday night and got burgers, fries, and shakes. We were able to order pretty quickly and the burgers and fries came out with a reasonable delay, but the shakes didn't come out until well after we finished our food even after reminding the cashier we were still waiting on them. She seemed super nice and professional and very slammed, so I felt bad reminding her, but we did have a train to catch and it felt like such a long delay. I think the reason it took so long is because she was trying to just take the orders of the people in line, and only switched to making the milkshakes when the line was empty. While this strategy does help the line move faster, it ended up as a worse experience for us because we really wanted to have the shakes with our food. We were not the only ones waiting a long time for our shakes.
Here's my suggestion for how to handle this next time: implement online ordering if you haven't already. Put up a sign above the cashier that people can see from the line that says something like "Skip the line; order online" with a QR code. This will help the line move faster. I personally really value the human interaction, but I know some people would be happy to order online if it saved them time. Also put up a sign right in front of the cashier that says "As we are understaffed, the cashier may pause taking orders in order to get people their meals in a timely manner." This helps set expectations without seeming rude. When the burgers are almost ready, the line cook can alert the cashier so she can pause taking orders and make the milkshakes so they are ready with the food. You may also want to put up a sign with the Wi-Fi information so that people don't have to ask the cashier for that.
We really had a fantastic time at the restaurant overall and thought our food was delicious. As I mentioned, the cashier was friendly and just a pleasure to work with. I think ironing out the kinks during high demand periods will really help you solidify your position as an extraordinary restaurant.

Read moreThe burgers are great and filled with flavor but small! This is the first time I've eaten a burger and still felt hungry after. The homemade bun is probably the best burger bun I've ever had. Fries are great and the portion is very good, a must try. In my opinion, the vanilla shake is awful. The first time I got it I would have rated it a 3/10, but this time it's a zero. Honestly the worst vanilla milkshake I've ever had, coming from someone who doesn't eat chocolate, so I've had a LOT of vanilla shakes. I was surprised when I saw the reviews saying they actually liked it. Maybe I got it on an off day, or maybe I shouldn't have had vanilla. It tastes like cheap melted diner ice cream, filled with bubbles, thick but in a syrupy sweet way. Or even like the little vanilla ice cream cups that they serve to patients at the hospital. Tastes 100% artificial and left a fake sugar taste in my mouth. It's also super sticky and goopy? For a child that just wants something sweet to sip on, it's fine, but if you're looking for even a half decent milkshake, don't waste your time or money, especially at such a...
Read moreEDIT- Well a gentleman from the restaurant reached out about my experience. He has offered a gift certificate to give me another opportunity to check them out. So I bumped up a star. To be continued...... Really wanted to like this place. Daily Fresh made in-house rolls, Special meat blend- yes please. Whomp whomp. There was a full rack of buns in plastic bags at 6pm- clearly they are out sourcing. Burger patty was dense (like pre frozen) and seemed steamed (weird color?) The shake was more like chocolate milk- Sooo thin. Fries were limp- but well seasoned. Young lady at counter was clearly not thrilled with her job. Bacon cheese burger, cheese burger, 2 fries, 2 shakes $40. Nope- not worth it. Only plus the bacon was...
