House of Heros — Restaurant in Town of Oyster Bay

I've been here twice and they have not disappointed. The sandwiches are made fresh and I like that they made me a lunch item during breakfast hours. I ordered the angry bird. Let's start with the most important thing In making a sandwich the BREAD. Hands down the most fresh bread I've have and I know their secret!! Next the ingredients in the sandwich are by far superior to any other deli I've had. I wish I would of took a picture of my sandwich but I ate it so fast couldn't think to even stop eating. One big meh. Expected the world reading all the reviews and it was mediocre at best. Fresh ingredients. The Godzilla had a nice taste, but lackluster cabbage on top of a single piece of crispy pork and then a bit of sauce...just not the portion sizes I expected. Each bite was wayyy too much bread. My colleagues and I wanted to try a different place for lunch today, so we Googled places around us & came across House of Heros. We decided to give them a try today & I’m so glad we did. I ordered for a group of 9 people & every single item ordered was correct, which is rare most of the time for us. And everyone here was very pleased. This was a great first time experience for us & we will definitely be ordering again…. And to whoever made my Cobb salad, I looove you & thank you for not being stingy with the Bacon!...
